You know, it's really amazing what can be done with simple little pieces of music from an 8-bit Nintendo game. I've always loved the Knight Man theme because it's in a minor key and the chords always reach out and touch me. This composition is example of the many music masterpieces that can be created with video game music. Awesome job! I'll have to listen to more of your stuff now :-)
Please Nick! Finish this album. I've been waiting for this for this for over a year. Your talents are god-mode, game-genie, and konami code all rolled into one.
Thanks a ton for your support. Real life has had its ups and downs keeping me busy, but I am committing to finish the 8-bit Philharmonic albums as soon as possible this year. The orchestral album will likely be done first, but this will follow soon after. I can't give any definite dates, but you I will make sure people know when the albums are ready to ship.
Yes. I am first working on a CD of orchestral 8-bit remakes. That should be finished this summer.
The next CD to be released, and it will take A LOT LESS TIME than the first, is "The Light Wily Quartet," a collection of Mega Man NES favourites in string quartet form. About 12 tracks or so, subject to change! You can check out:
I know that I might sound a bit nitpicky here but I think that a small addition to this track would be a good idea, xXNickPXx. Around 0:07 or so in the track to about 0:15 or so (or just listen to the original game track for a more accurate time), there is a little drum beat that could be done well with a violin if you have that as a part of your quartet. Also, there might be some more drum parts of the song but I am not sure at this time. Hopefully, my suggestions will help you.
Also, once you get that done, I would like to hear a version of the Tomahawk Man theme done in a kind of epic western feel if that can be done by a string quartet, xXNickPXx.
Kick ass!!! Knightman was the best theme from MM6. I also enjoy the Darkman theme from MM5, Sparkman from MM3, Bubbleman from MM2, the MM3 theme, and the MM2 theme. Keep making these awesome tracks!

Most excellent mix. The lack of a track download saddens me, but I gladly add this to my favorites.

@Heavensentkiller Why would it move you to tears? It's not sad or melancholic...maybe you need to need to balance out your emotions with medication.

Usually I listen to heavy metal remixes of them and thats it. But this version is absolutely amazing. It has a calmly nostalgic feeling to it.
