She actually sang this song incorrectly. I'm singing this for my workshop in college and her tone is not the way it should be.

I never heard that it was digitally enhanced or not, and if it was, it could have been enhanced with her own voice, like some singers do so they can have their own voice as background vocals. I love Hilary Duff and I think she did an excellent job in "Raise Your Voice" and "Cinderella Story." I am a college music student, an allthough some of her shaping may have been off, with or without a lil enhanced help, she is an amazing singer and actress.

The problem with Hilary is that she's an alto when it comes to singing and in her movies her character is always singing soprano parts.

I totally agree. If you actually had ears, you could hear that the whole sound is electronically changed so that she can sing in tune, when she can't. Plus her breath support is so opposite from classical singing that it's quite hilarious. I agree with the Italian Diction. If you want to hear real classical singing, go see an Opera.
