  • The Labour Party of Australia are a bunch of heterophobes who delight in destroying Australian culture.

  • @johnzbarleycorn

    hahaha,you are really stupid....

Heterophobe...yeah yeah......Giving same rights to homosexuals peoples don't deny any rights from heterosexuals peoples..

You are just a bastard, full of shit...

  • @johnzbarleycorn 41 countries also allow gays to serve in the military: Albania, Argentina, Australia, Austria, Bahamas, Belgium, Bermuda, Canada, Taiwan, Columbia, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Peru, Spain, South Africa, Slovenia, Serbia, Poland, Russia, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand, United Kingdom, United States, Uruguay.

  • Lol, why are all these faggots they slap on TV all male models? Everybody knows that 99% of real homosexuals are ugly as fuck with huge ass noses, zits, no chins, fish lips, buck teeth and gormless looking down syndrome faces,

  • Gay mariagge? I was gay for many years and for me it meant living in utter despair, depression, perversion and twisted mind. Probably only gay people and people who don't know anything are for gay marriage. Gays because it silences their conscience even more, so they can avoid the problem. People who don't know anything usually get info from what someone else say and are easily swayed here and there. Gay? I don't wish it to anyone. I turned to Jesus who healed me! My story: ilivestraight site.

  • oh I didn't know this was Dan's channel..this was before AGayCollab

  • God created all living things. If God didn't like what evolved, would He not remove and start again? God makes no mistakes. God is a loving God. He is my creator. And yes, I do believe in Jesus.. and I do believe He died for us all. God bless you all.

  • So sad buddy. I feel the same. I am moving from state to state in the usa to get my rights as a married gay christian.

  • Yes,He died for gays too.But in order to receive salvation the sin must be admitted and disowned. Homosexuality is a sin.At least AGREE that it's something you can't get over so you decided to legalize it in your mind and brought Jesus into this. You need to repent by admitting it as well as your weakness before this sin and asking God to help you. Then,I PROMISE,you will get to know real Jesus, the one you will rather want to bring people to than waste time on proving your rights

  • @357archangel that made no sense at all "LOL" If you're gonna try and argue with some dignity at least make a decent argument. Your opinion may be that its a choice, but can't you see how obviously flawed that is? Why would kids CHOOSE to be BEATEN UP and BULLIED by disgusting homophobes like yourself. Grasp some logic and realize the truth instead of acting like a mindless idiot.

  • @357archangel yeah cos as a straight person you would blatantly know that being gay is a choice? no mate, you're a fucking idiot, go fuck yourself.

  • @CrazyLiam123 My goodness you're mind must be corrupted or what..Im not an idiot Sonny boy..maybe you are..LOL

Life is a matter of choice..where did you get the idea that being gay is not a choice? No Son I'm not fucking myself..I have a wife..you may do that to yourself if you'd like to..come on son, Im sure you're so good at that..don't be a jerk sonny im just giving my opinion here..and everybody's entitled to it..even an idiot like you..LOL

  • Comment removed

  • Life is a matter of choice..and that includes being gay. Truth of the matter is, nobody was born a sex maniac..and that also applies to homosexuality..we all have weaknesses in life but we cannot use them as excuses to do things that are against God's law. I myself struggled for many years as a lustful man but i overcame it by God's help..I couldn't use my weakness as an excuse for abusing women, going after them with lustful desires..thank God He helped me make the right choice.

  • God has always created, loved & kept gays right here on earth, as part of His divine plan for mankind. Satan infiltrates people with weak, corrupt minds, however, and manipulates them into falsely believing that being gay is a "sin". Of course it's not. If it were, that would mean God is an incompetent sadist, who didn't know what He was doing when He created gay people, so now wants to condemn them. God isn't incompetent; men are wrong for doubting His wisdom in creating gays.

  • @MattFrame Where in the world did you get the idea that God created gays huh? Sonny that is only your speculation and presumption..the Old Book says that God created Adam (Male) and Eve (Female)..Can you justify your position huh? I know that even Science can't prove that being gay is inborn..come on son, prove to me that being a gay is not a matter of choice..

  • Outer suburbs of Sydney = The Shire. Some of the biggest bogans live there, trust me. (I also live there, so it's not like I'm hating on them for no reason, I've seen some of the people in the shire.)

  • @haydenwhitey Literally everything you said is wrong. Homosexuality is not a choice, and your imaginary friend can't hate anything because he doesn't exist.

  • @haydenwhitey Actually the bible says that homosexuality is an unclean act in old testament plus in the Arabic, Greek, and Hebrew bible prior to the English never had the word homosexual and did not include homosexuality as a sin or an unclean act. But when translated bible to English they mistranslated that act or homosexuality I read and I don't just believe in Christ thro Faith but I'm pretty sure God would want you to love as in Love I mean accept people for who they are.

  • I can't wait to marry my partner he is amazing!!! Im so glad that people finally except me and Rodriquez for what we really are. xxx

  • The definition of Marriage is constantly changing. I don't see too many women wanting to go back to the times when the bride became the property of the groom.

  • But wouldn't the best man at a Gay Wedding be in reality the second best man?

  • To all the Christians who are saying that it's against the religion, are you also saying atheists shouldn't be allowed to marry? Because isn't atheism also a sin? Seriously people, the only difference between you and them is who they love. It's not something they can change. And if your argument is saying that God says it isn't natural, why would he make them gay in the first place? So that they can be teased and beaten up about it? What happened to God loving all? It's obvious he made them tha

  • This study is a load of crap i agree with Jason pretty sure these polls were just posted on pro gay websites i didn't see them anywhere? have a ACTUAL vote. it's so bias!

  • @redhugh123 Agreeed

  • I wish every day I can leave this country, it makes my skin crawl donating my taxes to this country of bigots, congrats for breaking free!

  • No, asserting that heterosexual sex is in any way "disgusting", from any angle, is to allow the possibility of the same assertion with respect to homosexual sex. NO sex is disgusting. Don't use such vocabulary!!!

  • Labour party in Australia voted this weekend that the party now supports equal marriage rights :)

  • @ajbuffy1 i just read about that... it's way cool.

  • @ajbuffy1 Picking on faggots is akin to throwing stones at the Retard bus. Sure it's fucking funny but it's not very nice! Should other retards be allowed to marry?

  • @ExplorationB Which is the most liberal or gay-friendly country in your view? Australia or Canada? And if you consider also other countries, might you rank the most liberal ones, I mean, considering developped western democracies Australia, Canada, USA, NZ, UK, Israel, France, Germany, The Netherlands, Switzerland, and Scandinavian countries?

  • shit packers should not be encouraged they should seek help to fix their mind it's not wright, just the same as pedophiles are twised in the mind, whats next pedophiles discrimination. You should be ashamed of your self you puff.

  • @lehong1963 boring ignorant cunt

  • Luisbassooon you dillusional. Yes it's hard to find the right person but why should you remove the right for those that have. I have many straight friends that struggle to find the right girl / guy.

  • The most recent poll I saw 55% of people were against gay marriage. Stop subjecting us to your gayness and die a lonely death you poo stabbers.

  • Gay marriage is sooo Gay!!

  • That is me! I fell in love with Canada and Vancouver. But here in the U.S. has been pestering laws to make gay marriage legal federally but hasn't come. I live about 240 km south of the border in Washington state and I think it's wrong that something about same-sex marriage isn't legal in the 'land of freedom' when I can't marry a foreigner of the same sec and soonest my husband as an American citizen.

  • I AM GAY AND I THINK IS STUPID HOW WE WANT EQUAL RIGHT WHEN GAY PEOPLE ONLY WANT TO FUCK AND FUCK, IS SUPER EASY TO GET SEX BUT VERY HARD TO FIND LOVE IN THE GAY ENVIRONMENT!

  • @luisbassooon

"gay people only want to fuck"...

    What about your internalized homophobia?...

  • @luisbassooon 1) Stop fucking around and take life seriously.

    2) What about every other human being that is not homosexual and simply fucks around... I believe the ammount of porn videos for straigh people are like... 100000000000000 times more than gay sex videos?

    3) I honestly think you are not gay. Just some guy that wants to fuck around too much?

  • @69Darkwings69 AND WHAT MAKE YOU THINK THAT I'M NOT GAY!??, HOW I WAS GOING TO KNOW THE GAY ENVIROMENT IF I; NOT GAY IN YOUR MIND???, YOU DON'T SEE AS YOU SAY 10000000000000 MORE STRAIGHT PEOPLE THAN GAYS!???, I DON'T KNOW WHERE YOU COME FROM BUT HERE IN CANADA WHERE I LIVE THE GAY MARRIAGE IS ALLOWED!!!, HERE IN TORONTO IS SUUUUPER EASY TO GET SAX BUT A RELATIONSHIP IS VERY HARD, AND ALL THE GAY PEOPLE WHO I KNOW SAY THE SAME IS REALLY HARD TO GET SOMEONE! I'LL WRITE MORE IN OTHER MES

  • @69Darkwings69 ONE OF MY FRIENDS FROM BULGARIA HE IS NOT A MODEL BUT IS NOT A BAD LOOKING GUY EATHER, IN 5 YEARS TO LEAVE HERE HE GOT A RELATIONSHIP OF 3 MONTHS!!!!, HERE IN INTERNET IF YOU TRY TO FIND SOMETHING ONLY SEX, IN THE BARS OR DISCOTECS, PEOPLE, TRAING TO PICK UP!, IN OTHER PLACES THE SAME, BUT THE WEEKENDS THE SAUNAS COMPLEATLY FULL, YOU KNOW IS IS TRUE WHAT I'M SAING BUT YOU DON'T WANT TO ADMIT THAT!!!

  • There is no equality of rights when there is nothing to be equal about! Heterosexual marriages cannot be compared to gay or lesbian partnerships. Besides, justice is about accepting everyone in their differences. Looking for homosexual or lesbian partner recognition should not attempt to bear a name that does not correspond to it, namely marriage. And marriage is not choosing to be with whoever you want, whenever you want. It is the union of a man and a woman. What is all the equal rights about?

  • "Some people say Homosexuality is a sin. It's not. God is perfectly cool with it, and He feels the same way about Homosexuality as He does about Heterosexuality. Now you might say, 'Woo, Woo, Slow down you move too fast. How could you have the audacity, the temerity to speak on behalf of God?' Exactly, that's an excellent point, and I pray that you remember it."

  • Thanks for posting this video. It's been very informative. I'm sorry you had to leave your home country, hopefully soon you will be able to return with the rights and respect you deserve.

  • WANKER MARRIAGE DETROYS RELATIONSHIPS

  • @MrBennyboi1990 Oh really? You must be single and desperate then.... having trouble getting laid are we? Poor baby!

  • When you find someone that you love, and you want to devote your whole life with him/her forever, you want to commit to that particular relationship. So i do believe that gay or straight or whatever, they have their rights to get married legally and not being rejected. People kept on saying about human rights but why not marriage?

  • CALLATE HOMOSEXUAL! SOBATE EL PAN ! HAHAHA

  • Comment removed

  • Equal social rights for all people, independently whether they are married or not. Love and respect is all that matters; and therefore you need no paper of law, no preaching event or whatever!

If we focus the claims on homo- or heterosexual marriage, we lose the focus on the people who don't want to be married, but also want to have equal rights!

Human rights for all, no matter what gender, skin colour, ethnical background, faith, sexual preferences... The only way to acceptance of diversity!

  • @Ilkamy you can't give equal social rights to all people, a clear example is age of consent: there is the assumption that those under certain age (or perhaps with cognitive disabilities) cannot be treated as having equal rights as everyone else! You cannot accept their "diversity" by treating them the same. In fact, their "diversity" requires, out of equity, that you treat them different. The greatest evil in the world, said Albert Camus, comes from not calling things by their names.

  • religion is some stupid method to enslave humanity anyways, get married, fuck politics and religion. I love Canada and I live in New York.

  • Last time I checked - if you love someone and want to grow old with each other you got married. Gender doesn't matter.

  • I trust you will bring up children with a woman, should you come to have children?

  • @organist12345 The whole "the child needs both genders" crap is SOOO outdated and archaic it's not funny... I was raised by three women - my grandmother, my mother and my sister - and as an emotionally healthy 28yo male I can say that my life is pretty cool!

  • I believe in gay marriage, just not with each other.

  • Hetrosexuals who should get married don't, and homosexuals who don't need to get married want to. Seems like a self-centred bunch of people.

  • Got legally married in Mex City!

  • i'm fine with gays. just no marriage.

  • I'm a gay aussie, my man and I were married in Frisco baby!!

    Gay's Rule!!

  • Yaaaaaay go CANADA! We're too awesome. Although it's weird since I heard Australians are more liberal and less religious than Canadians in general.

  • @AldoTheAphelion Referring to people as actual diseases? Hitler did something like that as well. History and, I'm sure, God wasn't too kind to Hitler.

  • I see a gay population as a necessary evolutionary sacrifice. Imagine how hard it must be to create a species that always feels attracted to the opposite gender while staying in the species. You will have a spectrum of those attracted to things that look like themselves and things that look different from themselves. On the opposing side, you have people attracted to different races or even animals. A fringe is necessary on both sides for the success of the middle. Thank them.

  • @MrNoobophile Not quite sure if I understand you fully, but imagine if every single gay person in the world was straight instead. The world would have been overpopulated by us humanfolk and rendered inhabitable centuries ago. Gays are necessary for survival of humanity because we are less likely to procreate and will probably adopt children who would have otherwise died or become delinquent criminals after having been orphaned and/or abused by broken families. There, I said it!

  • @aussieyimon rofl, well what ever you do keep doing it, just means less guys to compete with for women. Saying that humans have the power to wipe out the life from the world is giving humans too much credit tho, it's more likely the population will balance itself out through fighting for the scares resources.

  • @MrNoobophile Obviously I was being facetious there, but look at it this way, straight guys need gay guys to take their gfs/wives shopping and the bf/husband can rest easy that their woman will come home completely satisfied with their self esteem totally boosted without any worries about cheating. Then woman comes home with better shoes and tighter clothes ready to rip them off passionately and bonk said bf/husband and make more babies. So, you see, we keep the species alive without contributin

  • Let em get married...they can hold hands together in hell.

  • @jesuswinsalways1 Jesus wouldn't want that. I'm sure he'd welcome us with open arms in heaven. After all, Jesus nullified the Old Testament with the messages "Love thy neighbours and treat others as you would yourself be treated."

He also broke bread with the poor, meek and lowly and said "the Meek shall inherit the earth." Since only homophobic majorities persecute gay minorities, I put to you that gays won't be going to hell. I hope you like it hot.

  • I want to marry my fucking Dog and my friend wants to marry their daughter, the other wants to marry 15 of his girlfriends, my neighbour often roots his frign car and wants to marry that as well, it all about love people, it’s all about love and expressing that in a free environment!!!! Wait till i have grandkids, I’ll show em love! FUCK!!!

  • would be against gay couples manufacturing kids .. ie using surogates, etc.. im sure some gay couples homes would be better places for kids than some hetro sexual homes... but .. you make your bed.. you lye in it.. ie... gays aren't male and female relationships.. ... only way for a gay to get a kid imho should be if orphan etc cannot be placed in hetro environment...

  • oh .. same legal rights... isn;t prob right either... ie a child up for adoption... should be given to hetro couple in preference cause.. have mother and father etc...saying it's the same is trying to convince people that pigs fly etc2

  • gays forcing what they want on other people isn't right either...so imho .. no way should it be called marriage or that the union be made in a church, mosque, synagogue, chapel etc... but they are gay cause thats the way they are.. so having the same legal rights of a married hetro couple is fine .. but call it a gay union and have it in a gay union centre.. so noone is hurt..ie don't hurt religious people... sort of sounds fair to me

  • er i doubt it's 10% probably alot lower...maybe 5%...

  • Im not gay...thats my sexual preference. I'd say 10% of population is gay... so what do you do. As far as I know marriage is betwen a male and female. It's a relationship supported by the God of muslims, jews and christians etc. So what to do... well lets come to some type of compromise that doen;t hurt anyone.. ie.. call it gay union not marriage... and it happens in a gay union centre... not a church, chapel, mosque oir synagogue ..as it's an abomination to these faiths god etc

  • Very well done, mate! Loved the vid! It's sad that we can't marry the one we love here in Australia. We're in 2011 with a FEMALE PM!!!

  • gay marriage is so gay

  • @Memyself5118 Am i talking with someone??oh yeah sa isang gago nga pala..so do you understand this, Tu es un enfant de chienne.Un pauvre attardé haineux.Un ignorant.Et ton dieu,il n'existe pas, stupide crétin???You are so funny and you make yourself a dumb..can you translate it for me?hehehe..you don't understand what you're saying idiot..you're stupidly insane..you are such a neurotic and psychotic moron.stop rumbling words that you don't understand, estupido.

  • i want to be your husbad!!!!

  • @Memyself5118 buang ka nga animales...wala ka gibuhat kundi magputak ng magputak..ang baba mo puro bastos..bwahaha

  • @Memyself5118 Oy nitubag pa ang gago..alam mo ba kung ano ka?GAGOGAGOGAGOGAGOGAGO..IM AMAZED YOU'RE STILL RESPONDING TO ME..KASI NGA GAGO KA...IS THAT ALL AN ATHEIST CAN DO?TO RANT AND SHOUT FILTHY WORDS..HAHAHA..I PITY YOU BOY...WHAT A SHAME...ARE YOU GAY BOY?FUCK YOURSELF AND BE SATISFIED..THAT'S BETTER THAN TO FUCK ANOTHER PENIS.BWAHAHAHAHA

  • You find sex between a man and a woman disgusting? Would you like to be labeled a HETROPHOBIC? The way others may be labeled Homophobic? A phobia is a strong fear of something. Just because a person finds something disgusting or unacceptable does not make them homophobic.

  • Comment removed

  • @Memyself5118 gago ka!buang ka!palaitot ni nga agi..do you understand what im saying?indi noh?amo na kay gago ka nga adik sa mga lalake..i don't know you and i don't care what you believe...if you don't believe in God then nobody's shouting and ranting at you..you shut up your sucking filthy mouth because out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaketh..hail you o very wise king..should i bow down to you then?

  • Who instituted, designed and created marriage in the first? Was it God or men? So whose definition are we going to believe? Men do not have the right to redefine marriage..marriage is always between a man and a woman..outside of that is clearly man-made..Let us not change God's design for marriage..well, if you're an atheist, then there's no point of arguing this.

  • @357archangel cool beans ;)

  • Wow that is fucking sad that you left our country just to obtain equal rights. It is shocking that gay people are treated as second class citizens in Australia. It makes me ashamed to be Australian that I don't have the choice to marry my girlfriend in my country of birth.

  • God hates Australia.

  • dude you are awesome. here in America we are going through the same thing. the state of New York just passed gay marriage but found a loop hole where if you get married there it has to be recognized by your home state. you dont have to live in New York for it to be a totally real situation. but regardless of whether or not im in a committed relationship where marriage is possible im waiting until my whole country has passed gay marriage as a right.

  • You're cute....

  • i love this video man.

  • I love everything you just spoke about! You can tell your Aussie living in Canada because your beginning to put more effort into the pronunciation of words ending in 'R'. I think it's rather cute! Yes Melbourne misses you too you should come back one day! Gay pride ftw!

  • The reason some hets are still so vile about gay marriage and gay people in general is because they are deeply insecure individuals. If you are genuinely happy with yourself and your life you dont feel the need to discriminate against people that are completely within their rights to be with someone of the same sex, as consenting adults. You dont like it? Dont marry someone of the same sex. Simple really.

  • One thing people need to understand: it's none of your business which sex another person chooses to fuck

  • @sqekcx thank u

  • I live in Sydney and I went to a girls' only high school and went through puberty hiding my sexuality. When I graduated, I met some of my best high school friends over lunch and finally came out. Most of them weren't really that surprised and told me that they had suspected it long ago. I almost cried from relief when my friend said to me, "Ok. You're gay. Can we order our food yet?"

I have the most accepting friends in the world and a girlfriend wo is also one of my best friends.

  • @elanorsunstar

Isn't it odd how gay men and women are so bad at hiding it? I thought I hid it as well as I could, and my mom, dad, brother, and all of my friends knew. Most of my family had discussed it, apparently, and I only learned about such discussion after I came out to my brother.

All I can say is, we're the lucky ones. My brother couldn't care less which way I swing, and my parents (bless their overly Christian hearts) at least accept me! :3

  • Gosh your cute!

  • No.They figure getting married is a union made by God and argue that God is against homosexuality. They are also worried about the aspects in raising kids etc. But I agree, the rights connected are priviledges that all groups should have access to.

  • Marriages ARE NOT "religious" institutions, they are government issued legal documents, and as such, must be governed by the U.S. constitution which ALL Americans MUST be treated equally "under the law".. Ones religious beliefs have no bearing on the law and can freely choose not to sanctify via a religious ceremony but that does not change the validity of the marriage.

  • so to sum up i couldn't give a fuck weather the government discriminated against or for straights.

  • It's taking so long for the same reason that the repeal of Sunday shopping is STILL being debated in WA...

  • @callum12321232 Then why can Atheists and Agnostics get married? If it's a religious concept then all legal entitlements that come with marriage should be taken away. People can get married without a church since the 1800s so no, it's not a religious concept. In ancient Greece that pre-dates Christianity there was the option to not involve ceremony at all.

  • @ExplorationB Im just going to say it the way i believe - atheists and agnostics can get married 'For the unbelieving husband is made holy because of his wife, and the unbelieving wife is made holy because of her husband' - 1 Corinthians 7-14. The laws are there to constitute a structured society.which gays can have without "politcal marrage and t bible says follow gov law. People can get married without religion, but without religion isint it just a bunch of old cunts (gov) permitting marriage?

  • @callum12321232 That makes no sense what so ever. Like absolutely no sense. You're basically saying "Non believers are actually saved when they get married" but they still don't believe. Pagan laws stipulate that it is allowed for gay couples to marry. These laws predate christianity. so if you want to play "Because an old book says so" and I believe in the bible as much as you believe in ancient pagan law. Actually Vancouver where I come from 50% are non believers.

  • @ExplorationB sorry son but your not understanding me. Gay marriage is impossible. You can call it what you like. If i take plain old grass, dry it out, name it weed and smoke it is it going to have the same effect? no. Just like two men signing some paper work having a ceremony and calling it marriage. is it going to have the same effect as marriage through gods will? Jewish laws which came through creation will say no. Your laws may prevent you from marriage without papper work. mine dont.

  • @callum12321232 I completely understand you. And I don't think you understand me. I live in Canada now - gay marriage is legal and operates the same as straight bi trans whatever marriages. So yeah - we can get married without gods will

  • @callum12321232 I think people who push same sex marriage don't really believe in God or the Bible..because if they do, they will see the truth that is just under their nose..these people will always discredit and deny God and the Bible in order to do whatever they want..they will always appeal to freedom without understanding the true meaning of it.

  • @callum12321232 If you smoke plain lawn grass it will not have the same effect as weed because it isn't weed. If you love someone, it is always equal. Because love is love. There isn't any difference between men who love each other and women who love each other than men who love women. This is because love is created by the oxytocin neurotransmitter, which is always identical in everyone's brain. God isn't necessary to love someone, just as god isn't necessary to have a structured society.

  • @callum12321232 Secondly, if all that is required to be a Christian (or whatever religion you belong to) is to believe in God, then every single gay Christian who has married in a country that has legalised same sex marriage already is holy and already is married in both the religious sense and the civil/legal sense. How many more holes would you like me to point out in your "holey" argument against something which doesn't require your input?

  • @aussieyimon i dont get it. If your not getting married for religious reasons, why get married at all?

  • @callum12321232 In Europe, there is a difference between marriage and weddings. Marriage IS a civil contract in countries like France, devoid of all religious connections and is done by civil celebrants, city officials etc Weddings were done separately if a religious ceremony was wanted. If you want to be legally married you MUST have a secular, civil marriage. Only Anglo countries (UK, USA, Aus etc) are different. Therefore, why would marriage need to be religious if it's actually not?

  • @callum12321232 The reason Marriage has highly religious connotations in countries like Australia, USA, NZ and other Anglo and Commonwealth countries is because, historically, the Anglican church was the official State religion of England. Why would god or religion be necessary to validate a social, legal and symbolic secular contract between two people wanting to live together? Therefore, why would a religious wedding be needed to validate a civil, social, legal contract? THAT makes no sense.

  • @aussieyimon facepalm* (the word 'religious' seems to side track you) Why do you want to be LEGALLY married and not just married (or whatever you want to call it)? It seems like your protesting for a abstract concept.

  • @callum12321232 Religion is a pretty abstract concept, however when you get married it tends to be a social contract two people make with each other in front of friends, relatives and family witnessing it. Church or not, marriages are a celebration for other people to witness as much as the couple gaining certain social and legal recognition. The fact that gays can't even legally marry in secular settings means that any social or legal status marriage lends to others is not afforded to them.

  • @ExplorationB people get married bc they love each other....besideoue our physic dont have sex gender..you would know if u are religious..

  • Marriage is a religious concept. Why do gays want to get married? (non retoricle) and didn't that mean you can only get married politically?

  • @callum12321232 Not correct. You can get married in a Registry Office with no religion involved whatsoever. Marriage conducted in a church still has to be ratified by the state, which calls it 'marriage'. States in the USA that have legislated gay marriage use the term 'marriage' in the applicable statutes. In Europe and parts of South America, several countries now offer marriage equally, irrespective of the applicants' gender. Where did you get the idea that marriage is exclusively religious?

  • @DerekWilliamsMusic Yer but i believe marriage is affected by religion as long as it obeys christian law. Without religion isn't marriage just a bunch of laws governed by a bunch of old blokes. Then dosn't than mean your battle is just one of self worthyness and benefits which don't really because no one lives forever?

  • @callum12321232 There is no single "Christian law", simply because there is no single Christian religion. Actually, there are over 34,000 different denominations such as Catholic, Anglican, Presbyterian etc., each with their own take on birth control, masturbation, homosexuality etc. Some Christian religions in some countries celebrate gay/lesbian marriage, while others claim we are children of Satan. All manage somehow to get this out of reading different translations of roughly the same book.

  • seperation of church and state. A couple "married" by civil union should recieve a marriage certificate with the same benefits as a marriage certificate gained in a church. The church should not have the right to control who is allowed to be married outsie of the church. It is disgraceful that religon has its fingers in state laws. Seperation is required here. If we choice to use the bibe to guide our laws, lets bring back slavery. Secular Australia - make marriage legal for ALL.

  • @prayawaythegay3 Quote to me what Jesus Christ himself said about homosexuality in your version of the Bible citing the chapter and verse and give the eidtion and publication date of the book, also please declare which of the 34,000 different denominaitions of Christianity you represent, and your authority to speak on their behalf. Also what financial interest you have in the outcome. Finally, why I and the other 280 million homosexuals on the planet should take any notice whatsoever of you.

  • @prayawaythegay3 It is ridiculous to say that God is indiscriminately drowning everyone (including Christians) just because a few folks are gay. You are a fringe minority of Christian belief. There is no official Christian position against homosexuality. How can there be? With over 34,000 denominations, growing by the day, you can't even agree among yourselves. Christ said nothing about homosexuality. Many Christian churches now welcome us with open arms, hearts and minds and ordain gay clergy.

  • Thanks for posting this, and you make some excellent points, however while it's great that we have majority support, i think harping too much on the majority thing is skating on thin ice, because we gays are a minority so your argument can then be used against us on the same grounds, that we are "only a minority".

  • u r right i know how its hard if we want jast sex than no gay will shatut for gay right we want love family kidds thanks men

  • I believe it is the pseudo Christians who mock God when they use their Bible as a weapon of mass destruction against those who do not choose to believe as they do.. If you truly beileve that God is a vengeful being, then prepare for his wrath against you as you are doing everything He says not to, unloving, spiteful, judgmental and NOT "Christ-like".. I'll pray for you... You'll need it, I'm afraid....

  • is it your opinion that love is love and that people should be allowed to marry so long as it is between two consenting adults?

  • yea I was going to mention Tasmania, GO aussies (as I am one) oi oi oi :) it is sad you had to leave your country. especially since the politicians don't speak for all of us (which you obviously realize) :(

  • To whoever is bitching below me: just so you know, the Bible was written by humans not God. People make mistakes, so don't go around say that the things written in the bible are Gods words because they aren't.

  • @MaryWaterton You are obviously a cherry picker.

1-Corinthians 7:6-9 6Now as a concession, not a command, I say this. 7 I wish that all were as I myself am. But each has his own gift from God, one of one kind and one of another. 8To the unmarried (straights can marry, so WHO? GAYS THAT'S WHO!) and the widows I say that it is good for them to remain single as I am. 9But if they cannot exercise self-control, they should MARRY. For it is better to MARRY than to burn with passion.

  • Every 1 out of 15 words you speak, you speak with a Canadian accent. It's cute. :)

  • Hey! nice video.Lets all hope we get equal rights in Australia very soon.I can never find any rational explanation for the government not going with it even when public opinion is in the favour of gay marriage unlike countries like US.

  • You're so cute and I love your vids. (And accent) ;D I wonder what you'd sound like with an American accent? Hmm...

  • @TisKujo Just watch a few more vids, my accent comes and goes cause I have lived here so long :-( LOL

  • Better hope that homosexual marriage never happens in Australia. God created marriage and He will destroy any nation that seeks to profane it in such an evil way. God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah over this filthy lifestyle. So how stupid must a person be to believe that God won't do the same to YOU for the same offense?

  • @MaryWaterton Canada have gay marriage for 7 years now and everything is ok...You are just an ignorant bigot....

  • @MaryWaterton Your rigtht, if god is like you then he is a bigot.

Your passion and ability to hate is brilliant. You hide behind that little book of yours and think it will protect you from karma. Good luck with that one Westboro Baptist girl.

Faith is a wonderful thing, no proof, no evidence.......no point.

  • @MaryWaterton Why don't you get a life or maybe even get laid..

    You are a foolis
