lol yes i did i get a half assed frame rate without running fraps my computer sucks i got a 7600gs and a single core processor and still get big kill streaks. i get about 50fps at best.

Cod, the only game where you can take 3 rifle bullets to the chest unarmoured, 2 grenades point blank range, 5 rifle shots to the legs, and still sprint full speed, let alone stand up.

But the gx295 is very powerful for games that are multiplatform. And graphics are slowly getting better and better.

what would it say on a motherboard meaning it is sli ready? How much does upgrading to SLI cost? I'm getting a GTX295 in just a few weeks but I want SLI as well. GOOD IDEO BTW 5/5 even though I thought it was eleven kills

If you wanna run GTX 295's in SLI, I *think* it needs to be quad-SLI capable. I know the power supply will need to be. Also, if you're getting 2 of these cards, you better aim really high on the power supply. Mine said the minimum it needed was 650 watts to run properly. That's just one video card.

It does. I had Fraps set to record to a secondary partition on the same physical hard disk drive. Not a good idea. Fixed that. More CoD4 videos, soon..... IN HD.

nothing to do with graphics card when it comes to fraps, with quad sli you would get EVER LESS fps in fraps because fraps uses the cpu, the more graphics card in a system the more the cpu has to work to drive it thus leaving less of the cpu for fraps to use to record

It's an E8600 (Core 2 Duo 3.33ghz) @ 3.33. Yes, I know it has massive overclocking ability. I got it to 4.2 and only went up about 5 degrees on temp. :)

I just don't see the point when everything's running at 60+ anyway, and it will shorten the CPU's lifespan, somewhat. :P

right, i overclocked my q9650 to 3.8ghz and my Scores and fps actually went down, might need to increase voltage and try 4ghz

If you're asking if the graphics are better on PC, they are, slightly, but only if you have the hardware for it.

if your going to get a gtx 295 your gonna need a new cpu, that will bottleneck your card to the performance of a 3870, IF THAT!!!

Sure it would. You need a PCI-express slot, and you'll need a fairly powerful power supply, more than anything. The minimum required wattage just for the video card is 650 watts. Add up all the hardware, and you're gonna need at least about 800 watts.

Dude DON'T buy a GTX 295 if you have a Pentium 4 processor. Not a good idea. It will bottleneck the whole shit, and I doubt you even have good enough PSU for it anyway.

It stays at 91 FPS when not running Fraps. I think the game has a cap on it, because it never dips more than 2 fps, and never goes above 91.

With Fraps running, it dips to about 50-60.
