I was at Godalming Station (south of Guildford on the Portsmouth Direct Line) on the day these diversions were running. Usually we would only have SWT Desiro's on the route, but the CrossCountry Voyagers and the engineering trains gave a bit more interest to the day.
i believe this station is featured in Howards way series 1. Lovely video.
