@Leeinsilver It's more than that. Combos are like a puzzle. You have to do the right moves, or it won't connect. If you do random shit like you, then it won't connect. It's usually the complaining about combos, in a game MEANT for combos.
unstead of a whole new game why didnt they just put the new characters as dlc? like mortal kombat makes more sense, cuz now i gatta sell my mvc3 and get umvc3 for 10 more characters why??
@eltoneoc77y UMvC3 fixed lots of combos, infinites, new colors, stages, music, more complex campaign, more moves for everyone, new menu, and shit like that. They're not just putting new characters. It's more than you think.
i played against a japanese player online in this game and he was just crazy and he was like a pro and then started spamming when you were far from him -___- spammers man
@Matster196 zoning, or as you refer to it, spamming, is recognized a legitamite strategy to win and and zoning is played all the way to the big tournements lik evo. a spammer though would be some one who throws fireballs all day with out regard to timing or accuracy and just cares about getting fireballs on screen asap

Lol the fighting game supporters are just as bad as the fps supporters. RTS or basically just Starcraft outshine you all. Plus there's mmorpgs like WoW and runescape that are up there with the fps games. And fighter games suck, in my opinion. I also hate starcraft but I respect it because it takes alot of skill that I don't have.
Fighting games are where its at. There's a reason why there's a worldwide appeal for fighting games and only Americans and some Europeans like FPS. There's also a reason why competitions for fighting games remain to be extremely popular while CoD has only a few big tournaments.
If you guys can't handle fighting games, then sucks for you!
I'm not complaining, I play fighting games myself, but in fairness the Respawn channel was originally made to seperate the FPS videos from the rest of the videos at machinima.

This combo only works on a standing opponent, meaning if you start with j.H/j.S/Drill ( I have never seen a combo not use one of those moves in actual gameplay), then it is impossible. Congrats to those of you that are both ignorant enough and have nothing better to do than try to comment on a game you apparently know nothing about.
MvC is cheeze... and that goes for the game and capcom for releasing the same game every 2 months and the MVC fanboys buying it... If there are a group of gamers less respected than Crap of duty fans... Its MVC fans...

Anyone who calls Tron broken hasn't faced Dark Phoenix. Most characters in this game can do massive damage. It's all a matter of how well you can LAND the combo. Dark Phoenix has both devastating and easy to land combos. (Not to mention easy execution)
@VonKunlunBOOF Pheonix isn't a choose and win character though... I've played loads of people who then switch to her after loosing, then get the 5 bars, go dark, then get hit by a Hagger Lv. 3. Most Pheonix players are morons.
For the record, I have mained Tron for a long time and can easily tell that "spam" with the bacon gun is REALLY hard to land, even more online, the five hypers in a row is either extremely hard to land (I can only connect 2) or exclusive against She-Hulk which in either case is not viable unless you wanna keep it stylish. You people cry as if every time you play this game you deal with this kind of combos, I am pretty sure that this is the first time most of you have seen them.
But if only get 1 person to read it i feel it's worth it.

@changeofpace405 You're an idiot if you don't think Dante is among the most execution-heavy characters in the game. He's very very cheap, but that does not make him easy to play well.
@MetallicaRulez0 dante is not cheap, his health is one of the lowests in the game. his moveset is the largest in the game, but none of those moves are over powerd. i would say he is versatile glass cannon
@hyperflare10 His health is exactly average. and hes very cheap, dont even try to deny it. I have talked to proffessional dante players who have called him cheap. 98% of his moves are safe, most hit on both sides, his combos and damage are ridiculous, he has an invincible move -.- hammer -.- great projectiles, can actually zone, near best rushdown, a tracking teleport, 3 great assists, HUGE normals. Oh and did i mention like 42 moves? and a Powerup super? multiple OTGs? air dash? such a OP char.
@hyperflare10 Right, hammer having the highest priority in the game, and causing almost zero hit stun degradation is totally not overpowered. Totally.
@changeofpace405 Dante's serious combos are among the hardest in the game, I would say next to spiderman, doom, jill(maybe), magneto, and possibly modok. hes very execution heavy. his combos, NO DOUBT, require the most button presses and double DP's. his easy combos are like the scrubbiest thing on earth, but his bold cancel and jump cancel combos are serious
@Stealth995: Indeed. Dante is a very noob-friendly character to use, but at the same time, a very difficult character to use. He's the ultimate fighting game oxymoron.
@qRaynep finally someone who knows what their talking about. I like the idea capcom had of having a versatile character with tons of moves, but they forgot to give him weaknesses.... hes probably my most hated character, mostly because everyone complains about wesker (who i main) when wesker actually has some weaknesses.
Even though it looks easy in cheap its really hard to do. It take people weeks to master these combos and do them consistently in real matches. Dont talk shit about something you dont know

Even if it's the same move over and over again, it's a one-frame link meaning that the timing is so strict that it's basically impossible to pull it off in a real match.

@madonnasantoddio LoL, have you ever seen any Rufus kick mayor ass in ssf4? his main bnb is a 1 frame link and pros do it every time like it's nothing and it's worth it cuz it does lots of damage. One frame link combos are way too far away from being impossible. Yes they ARE hard but that's why pros are pros. You don't see this infinite in any serious match because it is so impractical. If this infinite was worth the trouble, regardless of bein a 1-fram link, you'd see LOTS of people goin for it
@TheDonaldduck911 Yes, I know, but the combo at 2:42 contains not only one one-frame link, but 30 or so, wich would be hard if not nearly impossible even for a pro, especially when there are much easier touch-of-death combos.

And I just don't like the game cuz it's unbalanced. I've played MvC2, and in my opinion, it's better than MvC3. If u don't think so, then fine by me, but it feels so unbalanced. Luckily, thanks to updates to Ultimate MvC3, they're going to make the game require some more skill. Those who learn these combos are skilled, but as far as i go, it doesn't count in an unbalanced game like this.

@JUDALATION the people who buy these new updates tend to be players who play in tournaments. Plus have you been living under a rock for the past 20 years? Capcom has been doing this for so long its like there patented way of making great games, like the iterations to third strike, or from vanilla to arcade edition, or sf2 to ssf2t. IF you don't like it don't buy it but seriously we're not here to look at you complain about a good game, where here to watch great combos. Now do us a favor. GTFO

@JUDALATION You know, between MvC2 and MvC3 there was a TEN YEAR "break", with no new versions... and UMvC3 is coming after a year of the original release with 12 new characters, new stages, new modes, and balance fixes. I can't say that about CoD games, they are all the same.

Anyone who calls Tron broken hasn't faced Dark Phoenix. Most characters in this game can do massive damage. It's all a matter of how well you can LAND the combo. Dark Phoenix has both devastating and easy to land combos. (Not to mention easy execution)

@VonKunlunBOOF Pheonix isn't a choose and win character though... I've played loads of people who then switch to her after loosing, then get the 5 bars, go dark, then get hit by a Hagger Lv. 3. Most Pheonix players are morons.

For the record, I have mained Tron for a long time and can easily tell that "spam" with the bacon gun is REALLY hard to land, even more online, the five hypers in a row is either extremely hard to land (I can only connect 2) or exclusive against She-Hulk which in either case is not viable unless you wanna keep it stylish. You people cry as if every time you play this game you deal with this kind of combos, I am pretty sure that this is the first time most of you have seen them.

@hyperflare10 His health is exactly average. and hes very cheap, dont even try to deny it. I have talked to proffessional dante players who have called him cheap. 98% of his moves are safe, most hit on both sides, his combos and damage are ridiculous, he has an invincible move -.- hammer -.- great projectiles, can actually zone, near best rushdown, a tracking teleport, 3 great assists, HUGE normals. Oh and did i mention like 42 moves? and a Powerup super? multiple OTGs? air dash? such a OP char.

@changeofpace405 Dante's serious combos are among the hardest in the game, I would say next to spiderman, doom, jill(maybe), magneto, and possibly modok. hes very execution heavy. his combos, NO DOUBT, require the most button presses and double DP's. his easy combos are like the scrubbiest thing on earth, but his bold cancel and jump cancel combos are serious

I like the idea capcom had of having a versatile character with tons of moves, but they forgot to give him weaknesses.... hes probably my most hated character, mostly because everyone complains about wesker (who i main) when wesker actually has some weaknesses.

I call it a nearly impossible combo lol
Even if it's the same move over and over again, it's a one-frame link meaning that the timing is so strict that it's basically impossible to pull it off in a real match.
But seriously why the hell are cod players disliking a video from a videogame they don't even know...

@madonnasantoddio LoL, have you ever seen any Rufus kick mayor ass in ssf4? his main bnb is a 1 frame link and pros do it every time like it's nothing and it's worth it cuz it does lots of damage. One frame link combos are way too far away from being impossible. Yes they ARE hard but that's why pros are pros. You don't see this infinite in any serious match because it is so impractical. If this infinite was worth the trouble, regardless of bein a 1-fram link, you'd see LOTS of people goin for it

My point was that if you read the comments, people are calling Tron broken just because of that combo, wich is actually far from being true lol

And I just don't like the game cuz it's unbalanced. I've played MvC2, and in my opinion, it's better than MvC3. If u don't think so, then fine by me, but it feels so unbalanced. Luckily, thanks to updates to Ultimate MvC3, they're going to make the game require some more skill. Those who learn these combos are skilled, but as far as i go, it doesn't count in an unbalanced game like this.
