lsd limited slip dif which means both wheels spin with the same force equally on each side. and the standard one is just one wheel with the drive force resulting in one of your back wheels on your beemer being worn out than the other. well if you want better traction then an lsd is for you

nice Niljas. i have put a 2.93 lsd in my bimmer e36 323.
i liked very much, very good grip in the corner and in the the start first and second gear very good.
