MY DS1- BOSS NOT HAVE THIS TONE AND SUSTAIN... AAAAAAAAAAAAAA WHAT CAN I DO??? I have a great Ibanez with Dimarzio Evolution Pickups, but I can´t play with this kind of distortion and tone. What can I do?

@lwnk it's rarely just the pedal. If you're happy with your guitar, look at the amp. Guitar & amp are the main factors in your tone. Even if your amp is great, remember that different pedals interact differently with amps - ie. your DS1 might sound great into another amp but just not match the one you've got. There are better distortion pedals out than DS1 but you should be able to get a good sound with the right settings....

@lwnk ..(continued) Experiment as much as you can! I'm gonna assume you're probably getting a thin or scratchy sound, try messing with the tone controls - use plenty of midrange on your amp & try tone down on DS1. I've often found though that a DS1 into a Fender-style amp isn't the best combo...you should check out Rat, Fulltone, TC Electronic pedals...

This is a big part of developing a style of his own. Every great guitarist started by doing LOTS of record copying. He does Pink Floyd, Michael Jackson, Led Zeppelin, etc. he's developing a very broad range of techniques by copying the best.
