@freerun4fun m21 is just a modified m14. it has a slightly longer barrel and can only shoot semi auto. the stock is also usually made of composite plastic i believe. the earlier versions were not because they kept the wood stock of the m14. they stopped making them this way becase over time the stock started to warp and you could no longer shoot as accurately with it

Now your M 21 is an M-14 with a heavier barrell with tighter tollerances for bullet seating in the chamber. Bust most Noteably is the scope that is mounted with a swan mount..

the big difference between the m14 and m21 is the barrel. the m14 had a standard barrel while the m21 had a National Match (target grade) barrel
Springfield Armory sells versions as m21s that have National Match barrels
all this info is easy to find so instead of making an ass out of your self people look it up first

@XanithTheSilencer M21 = M14 + Scope and semi auto only pretty much. M25 is a shortened M14 with a scope and semi auto. M21's have been around almost as long as M14's. M25's have only been around since the Gulf War.

What's the difference between the M-14 and the M-21? It looks the same. Unless the Wooden Stock was replace with Carbon Fiber part. Other than that, I can't tell the difference.
