The Earthquake was in Illinois.

i slept through it. it was a 5.3 in my area.

I was sitting in school in the aftershock.we had to the drill. we usually have tornadoes so we had to learn something.

my first earthquake. Thx to my bird's instincts I woke up 15 seconds before it happened. It gave me a quite a shake.

I rember what happened in full I was going to get a sandwhich and some tea at 4:37am and was watching toonami jetstream when i noticied my house was shaking my older brother said it was a earth quake i said no eney way hes friend called at 5:43am telling us so yay it was i didnt care tho

I felt it and I'm in Iowa. It woke me up, and I thought I must have had some sort of weird dream. Imagine my surprise when I turned on the morning news and found it was real!

Thanks for the response. I felt the first quake but did not feel the aftershock because I was sound asleep by then. By sound asleep I mean I once slept through a car exploding outside my house and fire trucks coming to put it out. Thank goodness the quakes were not so bad. That was one scary experience. My first thought was that my house was about to get hit by a plane and my second thought was that it was a helicopter that came too close. It was my brother who figured it was an earthquake.
