what do you mean by using the spin trick?

the hotpoint allowed spin speed to be changed at any point dureing the spin. the hotpoint followed a spin programming, so by getting timeing right, you could select going from no spin setting at approx 6 mins remaining to 1600 setting and it gose as fast as it can upto 1600, let it do it normally at a preset speed of 1600, and it slowly gose from 300 - 1200 - 1400 - 1600

You need to have one of these machines to understand how it works!! when you do a shoot up to 1600 spin it only goes to 1400 which it does in the video then up to 1600 which it also does.. how u cant tell that from the noise i dont know.. but you dont have it so you dont know. simple

by the motor noise, and the stage of the final spin, it was on the last stage of the spin, and had 3mins on the display remaining. where it hits 1600rpm

the camera is, you carn't see it though, just the outside spinning round, which is also the reason you don't see the towels spinning round.

what u mean why it's not tumbling, because i wedged it between some towels to stop it tumbling otherwize it would tumble, and then spin with the lenz not pointing towards the door. and would proberbly point at the towels - going pitch black and of coarse makeing it pointless

NO because its wedged. the camera is sticking to the side of the turning drum. so we only see the outside spinning round because everything in the drum is wedged.
