  • could you or someone upload the "take no prisoners" scene. my favorite from this great film.

  • i like peter o'toole myself...

  • The story of how the arab kings sold their souls and revolted against the caliphate and put tthemselves in the situation they are in today. May allah depose those tyrants and create a new caliphate that wil finish the mission of taking islam to the world

  • Omar Sharif when he was young...OMG!

  • 50 against Aqaba?

  • Omar Shariff "gorgeous?" I find him almost repulsive. Peter O'Toole was the gorgeous one!

  • this film depicts how the foolish arab of today was just as foolish back then to turn against the turk... now they're lost and confused and need the turk to show them the way.. once reunited in the form of which they were doing the crusades, there will be another bond lasting for 1000 years and a new dynasty ruling the world from that point..

  • ı dont lıke lawrence.. ı m turk and we will come again !!! we real Aslan ..next tıme we will roaring..only you wait !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Akaba was taken after a weeks siege. YES.

  • No one crossed the Nefud!

  • Auda abu Tayi of the Howeitat is just to the left of this screen shot. They all met a month before and planned the excursion. There was no crossing of the Nefud (the devils anvil!). The Arabs took Akaba because the price was right and Lawrences gold temporarily baught cooperation with the British army plans in the region. He knows this, hense the wasted life.

  • Incredibly, this was O'Toole's film debut. Sharif portrayed a real person, as did Guinness and Quinn.

  • "Aqaba is over there. It's only a matter of going."

    Best line ever.

  • Omar Sharif is absolutly gorgeous.

I watch Lawrence of Arabia frequently, for the movie alone, and also to contemplate Omar's gorgeousness. He is still a very handsome and charming man but back in those days he was at the high of his beauty.

  • The 7 pillars of wisdom is a great book, but not like the movie which is inaccurate but truly loved for its cinematography and romantic perspective on a hero who's real life was just as amazing if not more than the movie. I still find myself after so many times watching the movie mesmerised by the magic of it all despite its inaccuracies, if they remade the movie there could only be one actor - Daniel Craig

  • yeah good choice... though if i were the filmmaker, i'd be too intimidated to remake lawrence... u see each of these scenes and there's no way u can think u can do a better job or put a more interesting twist on it.

  • "if i were the filmmaker, i'd be too intimidated to remake lawrence"

That hasn't stopped Hollywood lately. Hopefully they'll leave this one alone.

  • As the director wanted, Omar WAS a tiger!

  • piss off

  • great scene from an even greater film! thanks!

  • two GREAT Actors, way ahead of there time

  • I agree, thanks for posting. Great scene, great movie, great actors... love T.E.Lawrence, every scene posted is a little slice of heaven.
