  • Is there any way to find the piano sheet music for this specific version?

  • @theusermail

    No it's not.

By the way, I like your playing James!

  • @fcoclarinete YES ITS THE EASY VERSION BEIEVE ME WHERE IS YOUR CODA NO YOURS CADENZAS YOU MISSING THE HOLE PART OF SCHERZADO BEFORE CADENZA. AND WHY YOU DO LEGATO IS STACATO AT F MAJORE. IF OU DONT BELIEVE ME MAYBE YOU DONT KNOW THE REAL CONCERTO no1 WEBER

  • @skarlatospanagiotis

I know very well this concerto since I have studied it (as well as Concerto nr 2), so I guess I know what I am talking about. You are maybe talking about the piano part? some orchestral parts have been cuted.

    Great job James!

  • @fcoclarinete i talk for the part of clarinet where is your part of scerzado before cadenza has a part with 16hs scerzando

  • @skarlatospanagiotis Actually, the cadenza you speak of was not written by Weber but Carl Baermann. So if you are truly playing Weber's first clarinet concerto you would not play the scherzando written by Baermann. On the edition I play from there is text in German at the bottom that basically indicates the "cadenza" is optional.

  • @skarlatospanagiotis

Actually that's an optional cadenza written by Baermann.

  • wow it really has to be played that fast... crap

  • I like it a hell of a lot, almost as much as your bowtie, i played this last year, sounded about as good as you, almost, haha. now i am accompaning two of my friends. Your pianist does good work, very helpful for me

  • swoon!

  • Very good indeed - great tone, phrasing, tuning and tempos, though sometimes it seems too hasty in triplets or sixteenths.

  • you are fantastic.

  • You did a great job, James! I was wondering where the Rossini pieces were. You did an especially fantastic job on them. Anyways, I had a great time at your recital. Good luck at USC.
