This comes a little late, but I've got to say that I think he has a great voice! Good for him making it as far as he did on Idol. Anyone making negative comments about his voice, lifestyle or personality should take a long hard look in the mirror.

He is a self-centered prick working a dead end job at Pantorama who gets his friends to buy everything for him and will have sex with a random while his bestfriend is sleeping in the same room. How he has friends is what blows my mind...

I think it is rediculous comments like that that made him quit singing in the first place. Can someone not be recognized for his talent and not his sexual preference?? Grow up people... And just for the record.. He is not Gay!!
I can understand why people get upset about questions like this. But I myself as a gay man have asked this question about Daryl. 1. Because face it he is cute as hell. 2. Because he is an incredible talent and would be nice to be able to say "he's one of us". Sounds stupid I suppose but I think the gay community likes to claim certain people as their own and when someone as cute and talented as Daryl comes along..we want him.

I used to go to the same school with Daryl, and I knew his younger brother, he was in my class.
