nice review , everything he says are true ,,, i recently test drove this 2010 S4 and i have to say audi is really keeping up against the class leading bmw 3 series {335i} ,,, this S4 handles great and the standard all wheel drive really grips on corners ,the engine pumps a strong 333 horses but uses less fuel { 21 mpg city and 28 hw },

European model gets more power and torque than a 335i. Buy a S4 over a 335i any day.

Thanks for this! I came across the S4 just because I am looking for a 4 door that has some balls and can handle the New England weather plus gets good gas mileage. Never had an Audi but previuosly owned an M3 and A 5 series and BMW seems to be the competition. However their X drives cannot touch the performance of this car! Seems like an obvious decision now.

This the best review I've seen yet! I'm thinking about upgrading from my 2001 Audi S4 to this. It's was a toss up between the 335i which is cheaper and this but after viewing this I would gladly spend more to have the S4. Thanks again for that short but sweet review!

Would you take a new white S4 over a 645ci black on black coupe with black wood and sport package that i allready own, dont want to miss the V8 and feel like i downgraded after. Love the S4 though!! ( im 19 if that would factor in the decision)

Hey dude nice ride I did trest drive it and I was impressed the power comes on real quick no delay what so ever. Tons of grip and a firm ride very nice. I ended up buying a 2009 Evo X mr tcsst because I got it for 39,000 everything in.

Reliability is really really good. They have had some problems with the manual S5---cluth has been having issues. other than that...fantastic

Good review; I enjoyed it: a real-world, common-man active analysis of the motoring experience of the S4. Question: What colour was the S4 you drove, and what is your reaction to it? (And others' reaction upon seeing it).

I'll be purchasing an S4 Premium S-tronic (fully loaded) very soon. But I am torn on the colour: either Ibis White or Sprint Blue (or maybe even Deep Sea Blue as distant third choice). I love both (I seek a colour that will endure through the years).

The color I was driving was phantom black! If it was up to me tho I would own the Ibiis white over all the other colors any day. The sprint blue looks hot, but gets old after a while

the car is fairly comfy for city day-to-day driving, but its still a performance car so there is some bounce to the ride. Much improved tho.
