  • ¥GEIIIIIIIIIL¥ THANK YOU SO MUCH

  • This song still rocks 30 years later!!

  • Is it just me or does Mike look like Ed O'Neill (Al Bundy) in the beginning minute?

However, one of the IMHO best rocksongs ever recorded. A true legend.

  • When's their next tour? I'm there!!

Used to listen to their LPs at age 8 or so...

  • seen at loreley 2011 ,,rock the nation,, great voice. great show AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • See u in Amager bio ...... Looking forward to see u all again <3 ... Big fan of you !!!!

  • Poor generation after the music of Saga, Rush and Dream Theater !!!

  • nice tight band, still...

  • Amazing !

  • Michael Sadler is Back..2011...juhu New Cd and Tour

  • @Fullcircle007 It's about freakin' time - I know Michael left in '07 due to spending time with family. Glad he's back with the band after 4 years off

"Blood is thicker than water, and he'll be back someday"

Joe Jackson (from "The Jacksons: An American Dream" miniseries)

  • Missing that biiiiiig moustache!!!!!

  • are they Danish?

  • @coleride They are Canadian.

  • Par mon beau-frère j'écoute cette musique--ben cool!!!!

je pense que je ai manqué un boutte??? 1983 et on est 22011-cette musique ne mourra jamais. Bravo

  • @SUPERagent007

    (in transit )

  • Three lost years are over !!! Saga forever !!!!!!!!!

  • AMAZING MUSICIANS....AND HIS VOICE AND STAGE PRESENCE IS BETTER THAN EVER!!!!!

  • Saga , as it is and was . Loveeeeee :) Thank you for Posting

  • Ian Crichton is so underrated.

  • And the Creighton boys haven't aged either!!!!!!

  • They sound like a weird mix of For Absent Friends and Arena.

  • Це безсмертна річ від SAGA, власне і як самий гурт! Просто неперевершено!

  • Play it loud!!! Classic rock icons.

  • I love SAGA and ever will... michael looks a bit like ed o'neill (al bundy) anyway tho...

  • gr8

  • warum sahen die früher so scheiße aus, das sind und waren geniale musiker, aber das outfit war doch früher echt sch........

  • @runevidgeek3 Sorry, dude, nobody gets even close to Freddie Mercury. Michael Sadler is VERY close to Dennis DeYoung of Styx, though!!!

  • Still has that golden voice

  • Canada s Freddie Mercury. Class!

  • 80's 90's 2000 and so on it fits all

  • WOW...Michael's keep his voice in great shape through the years. They sound awesome!

  • WOW... pure talent... this is live!

Play this against the recorded version, and you will not tell the difference!.

    amazing talent.

  • WOW 2005? These kids sure know how to ROCK !! STILL !!

  • of sure one of the best live versions of this track...

  • Pur-Simple-Genial. The drums in addition to the voice of Michael and one of the best guitars i have ever heart. Proud Music which is allowed to listen loud.

  • Michael Sadler's voice is amazing !

    SAGA are the best ! ! !

  • Now that's what I call a proper Live - Version! Sounds like the original, maybe a bit better. It's a interpretation of the original, not a completely different song like all that (with few exceptions) unplugged - crap (I know, some poor artists have to save on instrumentation...)...

  • Awesome then, awesome now. Great band.

  • MICHAEL SADLER he hasnt lost his voiceee AMAZINNGGG AMAZZINNGG

  • They still sound good after almost thirty years. Any plans to go on concert in the USA?

  • They came to Chicago in 85. That was the last I seen of them. My guess is they dont do too well in the US. They have greater successes in Europe and Puerto Rico.

  • These guys are highly skilled musicians. They really have a great sound.

  • @IvanAtlas Thank you so much for Saga , i love them

  • Electronic drums?

  • this is an awesome song, but the singer looks like hes tryin the whole vocal acrabatics

  • Yeah

  • This is music for the past, the present and the future and not only for the moment.

  • One of Canada's best exports - too bad we didn't appreciate them as much as we should. Thanks too all the Saga fans for posting these videos.

  • I don't think they were that persistent in the U.S.

  • I love Saga ^^ and since I wasn't a saga fan when they where in Denmark last time, I really hope they'll come back to scandinavia sometime ^^

  • Very impressive!

As entertaining now as when this song came out.

This is how musicians are supposed to be...getting more

comfortable and capable as they age, not burning out or following some trend.

These guys seem better now than in the 80s.

  • I love this version! just picked up this CD "Worlds Apart Revisited" in Windsor, Canada last week..had to cross the border after seeing the Auto Show in Detroit cause I couldn't get this song out of my mind. I couldn't find a single SAGA CD in the whole Chicago area. It's a great double cd

  • Saga is a prodigeous band, not known enough...

  • Saga is on my list of bands who been around for more than 30 years Genesis is another and Human League and then you have Yes for 40 years

  • i almost forgot about this song i loved this song when i was a teen. i think they sound better now .thanks to whoever posted it

  • The Best Rock n Roll band in the world!

  • Saga along with Rush proves that Canada has the best prog rock

  • Yep!

  • how did this comment ever get a -1, I think the person that gave this a -1 should be shot. Means they don't appreciate saga or rush.

  • thaaat's right!

  • Queen should of picked Sadler up to replace Freddie Mercury

  • Awesome!

  • I wish the lead singer would grow back his humungous mustache back.

  • Ya too bad they're breaking up.

They are having one of the last shows in Hamburg, germany and I can't be there... Life suxx sometimes...

But I got to see them about 2 years ago in a club concert in germany in front of tops 200 people...that was awesome...They don't care about 200 or 20.000 people in the house it's always 110% SAGA!!! It was great

  • Saga ROCKS!!!

  • Saga's new CD is coming out this October 2007 called 10,000 days hence 1977-2007. I'm also saddened to say Micheal Sadler, the lead singer is retiring from the group and this will be their last album. aaaarrrrrggggghhhh!

  • DAMN! THAT WAS GREAT! I love this song. It's always going through my head. I always think of the coat-check girl as he storms past her leaving the casino, she asks, "Better luck today?" she kind of secretly loved him. She even came up behind him again serving drinks as he was gambling seemingly wanting his attention, never to be. You know, kind of a hidden fairytale. =)) Classic story/song/video line.

  • Yeah, but sadly Michael Sandler will leave the band at the end of this year...so their 30th anniversary is also their last...

  • Love the tune, but Ian's guitar tone is horrible. I preferred his original sound. This is just too buzzy and not defined. Too distorted too much chorus. Oh well...

  • 30+ years and still doin it up! Wish they would play Vegas!!!

  • Damnn. Like a fine wine, Saga gets better with age.

Saw them in Germany in 1982,and they are the greatest.

  • yes, search saga on tour

  • 10*

  • Wow,goose bumps. Killer sound.

  • I recall my local AOR station playing this one. Now all that's on the air anymore is negrified rap crap. What is the matter with today's young people?

  • I just wished the guy used an acoustic kit for this song.

  • Man..that song bring me some good memories of my childhood...GREAT BEAUTIFUL SONG!!

  • The real analog/digital synthesizers & keyboards they played in the '81 concert videos {Moog Multimoog on bass, Minimoog, Polymoog, Memorymoog, Waldorf PPG 2.2, Yamaha CS-80 & CP-70 Grand Piano..} sound SOO much better..than these korg 'workstation' imitations..IMO..Good to see a band that actually PLAYS their instruments! What a concept in these times of pre-recorded backing tracks, miming to sequencers & DAT, pitch corrected "vocals", computer-looped guitars, & 1-button DJ playback.

  • Agree 100 %

  • AWESOME SONG! I wish they'd come to Seattle.

  • Great song, great group, thanx a lot.

  • They sound amazing are they still touring in 07? help!!!!

  • On of the few bands that sound as awesome on vinyl (back in the day) and live. You´re right REBTEX, today it´s all about the 15 min.

  • You could not have said it better my friend! The integrity and heart of music died somewhere in the early 90's, people just care about being "FAMOUS" now days and don't care if they can play their instrument.

    Thanks for posting!

  • Those electronic drums can do the Simmons kit pretty well!! I do sense that at one point the drummer has trouble keepin up becuase of the awkward placement of the electronics over the tom toms which crowd the drum kit. It can get confusing.

  • hallo können sie mir vieleicht bidde dieses viedeo per e-mail schiken breuchte es für einen dvd abend wehre ihnen serh dankbar gruß dominik .k

  • Perfect sound as ever!

  • sweet! thanks for posting this one. A band I never got to see and probably never will.

  • REALMENTE )SAGA( SON GRANDES!!!

  • Saga is the best progressive rock band in the world EVER!

  • WAOOOOOOO,,,tenia añoss sin oirlos,,,,SAGA VIVE...!!!

  • the drummer was offbeat after the guitar solo

  • SAGA!!! Love them for all they've recorded... MORE!!!

  • cant wait to see them in 4 days

  • yeah the same : michael sadler

  • so thats the same singer in the video On the Loose.. ?

  • How's this for the ultimate touring bill...RUSH and SAGA!! I'd pay top dollar to see that show. For now..I'll just have to dream.

  • Jeez.. I'd pay good money see that.

  • they should tour the U.S more...specially in California, San Francisco

  • Cool!!
