Your voice is great. But I would take away at least half the vocal gymnastics. You don't have to prove you have the chops, we could tell without all of that. It's so much that you lose track of the melody. I enjoy the runs, just less of them and less complicated. Just my opinion. :)

Simplicity is the essence of style.
Too much messing about detracts from what is an astonishingly powerful song on its own. I say this without any harshness meant, but it's actually pretty difficult to listen to in places.
Still, you've got buckets of talent man. Peace, and I hope you make it big someday.

The runs were perfectly done....some aren't able to run the way you are is how I see it you sung that for you and sometimes others need to realize that the runs are a singer praising him in continuation of there song, they have souls as well and as they sing others happy they sing themselves "Q" GREAT JOB......

I agree totally the runs get REAL OLD QUICK LIKE> But he still does have it, i would loive to hear the song wrap your heart around mine girl, now to see a 2010 version would be diifferent, i really like that song on his 1st album.

R&B is to show off. Gospel is for winning souls. If you are going to sing, sing it with the intention that someone will feel the words and that God will anoint your song. Not to show off. I'd rather you sing R&B than to sing a gospel song without anointing. (The anointing breaks yolks). BTW, I mean no offense by my comment. . . at all.

you are a good singer, and definitely have the chops, but me being a singer myself, and also growing up in the church, i've never been a fan of all the runs, or vocal gymnastics like someone said below. But try to singing the song with just less of them. it kinda went overboard

Your voice is great. But I would take away at least half the vocal gymnastics. You don't have to prove you have the chops, we could tell without all of that. It's so much that you lose track of the melody. I enjoy the runs, just less of them and less complicated. Just my opinion. :)
