Haha, he just happens to have gotten the medal for the gymnastics, not the running.
And whatever way you look at it, he is running wrong. Im an athlete, I know how to run the most economically and I wasn't telling a gymnast how to do gymnastics, I was commenting on how he runs.
@lazystevie MORE success. Why is the concept of improvement for a gold medalist taboo. running form is not a gymnastics focus (i'm an ncaa gymnast) and I believe it should be.
@daboss1221 olympics > ncaa. we could keep going u know. more success? maybe for urself. win a medal before you tell an gold medalist how to get more success.
@lazystevie I was more talking about how I know the ins on training and that improvement doesn't stop even for the elite. He is not perfect, he could be better. Why deny this? Running form has perfection that is proven. an area of improvement for an already amazing gymnast. he could be even better!

If you look at 00:17 on the scoreboard behind him, it says it's worth 7.00.

He looked disappointed there. 0:20 The start wasn't very good that got him.

Wow strange running, he like places his feet across his body, which totally slows his forward momentum - with all that upper body movement!

u're telling him, an olympic gold medalist, how it should be done? thats more strange.
no offense

This comment has received too many negative votes show
he is running incorrectly. there is a running form which most gymnasts don't have. if they did they may have far more success
