you prolly seen this when you were very very small and just thought about it and looked it up and found it and as you watch it you realize how much of it you remember and you feel good inside.
Gosh, I remember watching this when I was little... I think my we had it recorded from tv on VHS....This is probably one of my all time favorite Christmas cartoons ever....I'm 23 years old now, and I can share this with my kids.. I know they're going to love it!
I dunno about you guys, but I've seen this before.... a LONG time ago. say 1966 .. maybe 1967. A low-budget local educational TV station in Albuquerque. Several years before PBS even started. Yep. I was 6 or 7 so seeing this was pretty damn fuckin weird. LOL.
Loving this , haven't seen this since my son was little, he's 21 now and in his final year in university, happy times. Merry Christmas from the Rhondda Valley.
I remember seeing this on a video that had 'Santa's Surprise' on it plus maybe a few other ones. Can't remember the others, but I loved this one so much. Thanks for uploading it.
This is the cutest cartoon ever. It actually kind of brings tears to my eyes. The cartoons today are so dull and pointless. Their not touching anymore. The cartoons today seem to dumb our children down. I grew up in the 80's and 90's, and I have to say my generation was the last generation of good cartoons. Television has just went down the drain, especially children's programming.
Lets not forget this was the reality of Depression Era America where it was not uncommon for little children to spend Christmas alone in empty cold shanties without food or toys. That is why this is a fantasy. In NY these hordes of street urchins were known as 'street arabs'. This must have been a happy time for Republicans as there was no HUD, Public Assistance, Food Stamps, SSI, Social Security, or Child Protective Services available to be paid for with "their" money.
Old cartoons (like this one) always makes me strange feeling...it's a little...maybe scare :), but those short films are real cartoons, not like "Chowder", "My gym partner is monkey" and rest of that junks. Most of teenagers (I'm 14) Says: Silent films are stupid, black-and-white too... It makes me angry (Sorry for my bad english, but I'm leaning :))
When you think about it this stuff is 10 times better then the shows out there now, this tells a story unlike that other junk on carton network and nick. I am 19 and used to love the "old" cartoons like rugrats doug and rocketpower but the shows now are point less and don't have the same feel such as this clip did or other shows like rugrats
@sammyboy44s I can't wait for your kids to grow up and start talking about how their shows are 10 times better than what is being put out. Your cartoons weren't any better, you just remember the best ones.
Putting out the fire was made difficult due to one doll spraying the tree with a flamable, alcohol-based perfume. No charges are expected to be filed, however.

In Soviet Russia, Toys do not keep little boy from going hungry. He is poor and orphan because he is weak and does not work!
