  • I'm surprised people are still commenting on this, it's really a pretty bad model and a pretty boring video, I'm much better now than I was when I made this video.

  • @Mikeplus14 Well you should make some new vids

  • I wish I could use Wings 3D like this...How long took that in real-time ?

  • LOLZ at 0:48 it looks kinda like iron mans head xD

  • i dont want to be mean, but this was not good.

  • looks like a primate head

  • Good video. The Super Mario theme had me laughing. :)

  • O_O it's-a me mario!!!!!!!

  • LOL Mario music

  • terrible

  • What the, the music? or the model?

  • how do you get the cube to turn into that shape in the beginning?

  • select all the faces and press "S" to smooth it.

  • Looks like monkey head =P

  • This is what nightmares are made of

  • LOL

  • If you messed around more with the head on the right, you probably could get a good Batman head.

  • @ KarriKolvusalo

nobody using Wings3D on youtube is planning on making virtual reality or a Lifelike movie are they? nope. This is actually pretty good.

  • Can anyone tell me, how do I get two objects to act like one object?

  • Select both objects and put the where you want them. Right click for the menu, then left click combine.

  • Could you have done the vid slower. :p

  • wow that is mad how long it take you in real time

  • Hello! Box modeling good for many things, but only for things that are more or less boxy. Human(oid) face, is a very complex shape, and the flow of polygon edges (topology) is inherently unsuitable for box modeling; I think the examples as novelties. Think of the creases and lines in the human face; polygon edges should follow them. There should be a graceful flow of lines from the ridge of the nose down to the sides of the mouth and up under the eyes.

  • i agree with u............ even though i have no idea wat u said :P

  • very instructive, nice vid:)

  • i just made a buddha using a better sphere modeling technique

  • psycho msx form mario I like it :)

  • almost perfect. the only flaw is the Repetitiveness of the techno mario bros. song. try putting in several songs instead of one next time around k? Hope this was constructive. and I would not be surprised if someone made a similar post (if so I apologize). ~EldeoSoul

  • But sometimes when yu put in more than one song it osunds really tacky

  • Very good, but I agree that u should start with the overall shape, and box modeling is actually a powerful technique, especially when ur using image planes(if its possible in wings3d)

  • thanx for this:)

  • ok constructive comments( , you're wasting to much time on the eyes ..first start with the overall shape , make sure your edge flow is fluid and consistent ..verry important .....try edge extrusion ..it's a far easier method (for me it is ) than box modeling .

Y ..smoothing is just multiplying the polygons with factor 'n'..so how can you expect a smoothmodel when the base mesh hasn't got enough detail ...

    one word ..practice ...peace

  • wow this is awsome man

  • Please only use constructive crits!
