WOW, You know what, I think you just cleared up one of my Biggest Questions about GOD! lol That was definitely bringing me A LOT of Confusion and just basically deflating my Faith more & more each day but, now I know Better. lol Thank You! : )
In Mathew 11 verse 27 all things where given over to Jesus by God the Father. This is a new program. Now Jesus can choose and desire all to come to the knowledge of truth and repent as he calls out in verse 28.

If God wills for all people to come to him, and we can only come to him 'by' grace (..which brings salvation and has appeared to all men [Titus 2:11]...) 'through' faith that can only be obtained as a gift from God [Ephesians 2:9], 'but' he only elects certain people to give this gift of faith and thus be saved - how can that be explained other than a contradiction of scripture and/or indeed of God's character?
If election is the case, then why have The Great Commision? Why post a single video about choosing Jesus when realistically, it makes no difference because He's already chosen? Why creatique one sermon?? If your "elected" it doesn't matter if you listen to Joel, Benny or Charles Stanley, you're either in, or you're out. If someone's eternity has already been "elected" Why breathe the breath of life into a nostril knowing he/she is going to be taking one for the team? Whosoever Believes?
@horseyfied1 The Great Commission to preach the gospel is God's way of using men to help bring all of the elect into the fold. God has chosen, and God uses all means available to bring about his desired outcome. You say it all makes no difference? But what we listen to and believe does matter. If we have been chosen and receive the Holy Spirit then we will want the truth and only the truth.... not man's traditions or false doctrines. The "whosoevers" are the elect.... Whoever believes!

I had some similar doubts earlier this year which I discussed with bzel333 before moving onto Election difficulties. I believed in God, but didn't want to commit idolatry by focusing on Jesus who I was convinced had been raised by God, but was not convinced he was God.
Mat 12:6 "But I say to you that something greater than the temple is here.Mat 12:8 "For the Son of Man is Lord of the Sabbath."
It was verses like this that put me over the top. Who was this audacious man but God!
