Maybe you can show the blanket sometime. Your babies are hungry. You have really been busy. I hate missing that hour too. I get behind on sleeping and everything. I went through that with my dad but he didn't even remember he had a daughter so that made me feel bad. I told you that I lost him last year I think.

Hey Judy! I'm glad the card made it. I swear Canada Post is the slowest in the world! LOL If I mail something now I try to mail it at least 10 days before the date and when I do that it gets there in 3 days. If I mail it 4 or 5 days before the birthday it gets there a week after. I can't win! lol
@Suezeeknits I don't think it is just there, Sue.. The mail is really slow everywhere! One time it took something I mailed a week to just go across town which usually only takes 1 day! Then they have the nerve to raise the postage! Gees...

@justwant2bhappy This is the first time for me planning a wedding so I am a little nervous in how it all turns out! I have all sons so usually the brides mother or parents plan the wedding but in this case, we are doing it since her mom lives far away and she does't get to see her much.. It has been fun and easier than I expected! I attribute that to the bride as she is very agreeable to every thng and very easy to please! She is NOT a Bridezilla! LOL

@shadow6326 I always have a good time with my dad.. The hard part is leaving and that is very emotional for me if he isn't occupied with something before I leave... It's hard getting away because he wants to go with me... breaks my heart! I like to plan my visits for the afternoon, then I can leave at 5 when they sit down to dinner.. @wildheart5 My dad used to make pancakes and sausage every Sunday when I was growing up. I used to wake up to the aroma and it was great!! I think I AM a groupie! They are the nicest bunch of guys! I really hope they get big and do well in the business! Their name is Miniboone.. they are on FB.. check them out or just google them.. they have a website too and you can see a video of theirs... They are pretty good...LOL

@silverscreamgrl I will have to get Kim to take a picture of him with his blanket since I totally forgot to take one once I finished it and washed it and got it ready to give him. :(( I was a little nervous about having this band here overnight and especially since we had to go out the next morning for the baptism because we really didn't "know" them. We met them at his nieces wedding last summer and haven't seen them since. But they were great and very friendly and easy going! :))

@yoyomax12 We always have a good visit no matter what we do or where we go. I just feel so fortunate to still have him.. When I first took him there, there were 4 other men along with all the women. Now, all the other men have died and 2 of the women. He is the only man left in memory care and I hate that he doesn't have someone to really talk to there. He doesn't want to be bothered with the women.. Oh well. I hate this disease!
