  • The same thing happened to my stock (micro) parkzone p-51D. Maybe it is a defect?

  • Same thing happened to my T-28 Trojan, and my Apprentice. Trojan I think because it was 0 degrees, and my transmitter batteries weren't fresh, not close to dead though. 2nd light from fresh. Apprentice twice on fine batteries. Using the Dx5 the apprentice came with on both.. I'm lucky it didn't kill anyone. What causes the damn thing to shut off like that? I'm scared to even fly at all anymore. I've been lucky the thing cut someones head off.

  • i could not figure out what plane that was but the paint schem is amazing parkzone right?

  • @funkyfack

I'm chaulking it up to the ESC. I was using a Super Tigre 30amp ESC, and every plane I've put one in has had a problem. I probably didn't program it right, but now I'm using E-Flite 30amp ESCs with no problems.

  • I love the paint scheme.

  • @1RDriver THANKS!!! It's of Capt. Ed Heller of the 486th FS, 352nd FG. He was pretty amazing!

  • Uhhh ... nice Painting!!! :D

Sad that Bird like this can crash

    like the Stock ones. :(

Good that you had no damage.

Enjoy your great looking 51 :o)

  • @Parkflieger

Yeah I'm not sure why the stock ones do it too, but I can say if you put an E-Flite 30amp ESC in it, she'll fly GREAT!! :)

  • 39" (inches)

  • Hey Beamer...that looked like an old frankie launch...

  • LOL!!! Hey Bud! Yeah it felt like one too!! But no damage other than the spinner's back plate.
