  • Nice news thanks to the Antitrust Division of the Department of Justice , to Block that stupid deal will raise t mobile price to the sky . AT&T's Sucks

  • i bet those frequencies not being use is for a reason, i bet they probably cause long term health related issues. no doubt.

  • YES YES YES!!!!!

  • @lifewitheugene I agree with you 100%! It doesn't matter if the purchase would've been a good thing or a bad thing. That would all be speculation and a matter of opinion. What does matter is that we are supposed to have a certain type of government but the rules are constantly change to appease certain people or circumstances. People just don't realize the power they have given up. If the gov is so concerned for the people the why didn't they step in when all the banks were robbing us blind.

  • Come on, they all need more spectrum. At&T doesn't need it as much as a provider like sprint. AT&T fails to realize they're not the only provider in the world so why do they think they're entitled to more when other providers could use a hand.

  • If you all remember, AT&T used to be a great company UNTIL it was bought out by SBC, who at the time had the worst service, and totaly greedy business management. So SBC (who where hated) bought AT&T, and lost the name SBC, and changed to AT&T, since it was a trusted name. But nothing has changed. The SBC greedy fricks now own AT&T and have not changed there greedy ways. Its not hard to figure out what these crooks are still up too. research it!! SBC and AT&T

  • We live in a democratic, capitalist society, the government doesnt have any right to intervene when a company is buying out another. Its funny how we Americans are so against socialism but yet are in favor of government intervention on business, hypocrites.

  • @LIFEWITHEUGENE USA has a track record of breaking up monopolies or near monopolies. ATT is pulling a 21st century Standard Oil scam. If they were allowed to eat up T-mobile, they would have been a monopoly (or atleast nearly one). ATT is already bullying its customers and with their immense lobbying power would have spelled for competition.

  • Great, they need to take apart AT&T as well.

  • Good keep off your dirty hand on tmobile.

  • IMO ATT is still too large... both ATT and Verizon need to be broken up to solve price fixing and improve competition.

  • @therahulrs

Oh you mean the $75 a month I pay for 400 minutes and unlimited data plan on my galaxy nexus is too high? no way!!!! I mean it's either this awesome phone or a piece of shit Revol phone with (dropped calls) and unlimited minutes for $50/month.... Competition? What's that?

This shit is a fucking racket. I agree 10000% percent. It costs what .1 cents to send data thru a line that you built a long ass time ago and been paid for 1000 times over?

  • wooow so fucking gay that they dropped it. i was looking forward to AT&T-Mobile

  • Let me get this straight AT&T is paying Billions of US dollars for Air waves ??? From the 1920s to 1990s it was FREE Who is selling them to AT&T The one percent Lawyers ? So the phone company can charge a larger bill to the customer ... And this year the highest earnings for AT&T company ever !

  • AT&T is just like GE they won half of the planet ! there is no way to run from them , even when you use other cell service AT&T still make money from your calls , AT&T won most of the phone grids and International calls coming in or out of the country , so they are more then fine !

  • Yay!

  • Haha! AT&T is one of the biggest gov't sycophants that all of their personal-information-cooperations (BEFORE THE PATRIOT ACT WAS AROUND) and pandering couldn't buy their way into a potential monopolistic litigation. I seriously hope that company that's been a criminal organization since the 80's GOES DOWN.

  • This is a stop between 2 companies from merging, not a stop to monopolies.

Monopolies only occur when there is no remaining competition on a much sought after product and when no alternative exist. This is why Microsoft was never a monopoly when Apple existed. They were just considered "too big" which is complete BS.

  • @PerfectionObsessive That first merger can be the foundation a monopoly can be built on. While not a monopoly MS is big enough it can act like a monopoly, and often has, that's why it's sometime a target of governments.

  • @waswestkan MS still fails to be an example due to several competitors who can provide different OS for PC such as Linux and its MANY series of OS's which are superior in certain aspects such as controlling memory output

The only claim that the government can make is that people have a preference of Microsoft products and therefore preference of such products must be eliminated

Maybe the preference for Vermont Cheddar causes Vermont to act as a monopoly therefore Vermont mustn't make cheese

  • LMAO..... Ewww......

  • Faggots

  • LOL!! smh!!!

  • I love to take big nigger cocks up my tight white ass.

  • @SuperAnnoyingtroll I also enjoy taking big nigger cocks up my tight white ass. Do you enjoy drinking the man goo?

  • @SuperAnnoyingtroll OMG!!! YES!!! I love drinking man goo. I chug that shit.

  • LOL...Good work, FCC. DON'T LET AT&T big the king on the blocks, keep them prices affordable people and droop the data caps. They are still lire.

  • 3 billion for a now deal !?!?!?

    What for?

  • banks can buy small banks but phone companies cannot buy small phones

  • @PainandMotivation - Monopoly

  • @PainandMotivation T-Mobile isn't a small company. It's one of the big 4. It would be like Bank of America trying to buy Wells Fargo. Never going to happen

  • @PainandMotivation because there are only two major and two smaller operators in the US.

If ATT were allowed to buy Tmo we would have effectively a duopoly which is never good. If anything we should be thinking about breaking up Verizon and ATT into smaller companies...

  • Can you Hear me now ??

  • @BusterBayVideos Hell no I can't hear you type louder.

  • @waswestkan lol you funny, mister funny man!
