He had 4 major episodes in his life and the first two being in the first half of his life. ben was tired of not being able to do the things other people could do and this is all true. However ben breedlove should have been offered the option of septal ablation or even a heart transplant. Considering his options putting him on the transplant list he would have had nothing to lose...
so why if he lived with this for 17 years and 4 episodes why didn't they put him on the heart transplant list or offer him cardiac wall reduction surgery? ugggggggggggg

My grandma, aunt, uncle, cousin and dad all had / has HCM. My aunt and dad had transplants but sadly, my father passed this past summer, my uncle 15 yrs ago and I never met my grandmother. RIP.

I have SVT it makes my heart skip beats I guess I have a heart problem but I don't think about it. I would rather have a heart problem than cancer or schizophrenia. The reason Ben cheated death so many times had nothing to do with any physical thing. He found God inside him, and the strength of God was what pulled him through all those times. The reason he died is probably because God couldn't stand to see him suffer so He "put Ben out of his misery" and bought him up to Heaven to live with Him. We are all children of God and God will always protect and guide us. I feel like Ben was an angel sent down to guide us. Whenever i think of Ben, I cry. RIP Ben. <3

The reason Ben cheated death so many times had nothing to do with any physical thing. He found God inside him, and the strength of God was what pulled him through all those times. The reason he died is probably because God couldn't stand to see him suffer so He "put Ben out of his misery" and bought him up to Heaven to live with Him. We are all children of God and God will always protect and guide us. I feel like Ben was an angel sent down to guide us. Whenever i think of Ben, I cry. RIP Ben. <3

My cousin suffers from HCM and has had two surgeries the first one cut 19 mm off of her enlarged heart and the second one to install a defibrillator.
Knowing how brave Ben was and his small glimpse of Heaven, gives hope to others who may have a condition that they have no control of like my cousin.
Thanks Ben for giving hope to others in such a way that the gates of Heaven are shining greater and greater to replace fear and anxiety over death.
