However, having watched many hours of Fox News, MSNBC and CNN, Fox News is so far more fair and balanced than the competition. I'm not saying that it never leans to the right, it does at times, however I think especially in recent weeks we've seen that Fox News is the only legitimate news source.
And I think that the viewership number does reflect this.
Neither MSNBC or Fox are balanced. CNN is about as balanced as it gets. When you have Hannity, and Oriley vs Oberman and Mathews your going to get very distorted far end views.
And the reason why they have such cute ratings is that the owner of most of the major TV/Radio outlets are republicians, such as computers/internet is owned by the majority of the liberals. IE Bill gates, The majority of daily sites, porn, etc...
I don't think thats quite the reason and also my point of fair and balanced doesn't mean that just the tv show hosts are balanced. Fox News actually has liberals that debate the host. In fact, if you look at O'Reilly, he actually has more liberal guests than conservatives on weekly.

This was so far from Hannity getting "owned" - perhaps more entertaining than anything else. Gibbs and Maddow are typical kool-aid drinkers and overall enjoy attacking with little substance on issue. Hannity does like picking as well, but more so at issues of substance. There is a difference.

I agree with you that viewership is not an indication of truthfulness. However, it is a hint at it.
However, having watched many hours of Fox News, MSNBC and CNN, Fox News is so far more fair and balanced than the competition. I'm not saying that it never leans to the right, it does at times, however I think especially in recent weeks we've seen that Fox News is the only legitimate news source.
And I think that the viewership number does reflect this.

Neither MSNBC or Fox are balanced. CNN is about as balanced as it gets. When you have Hannity, and Oriley vs Oberman and Mathews your going to get very distorted far end views.
And the reason why they have such cute ratings is that the owner of most of the major TV/Radio outlets are republicians, such as computers/internet is owned by the majority of the liberals. IE Bill gates, The majority of daily sites, porn, etc...

I don't think thats quite the reason and also my point of fair and balanced doesn't mean that just the tv show hosts are balanced. Fox News actually has liberals that debate the host. In fact, if you look at O'Reilly, he actually has more liberal guests than conservatives on weekly.
I don't find CNN very balanced when they always have 2 times the liberals on than conservatives. MSNBC NEVER has conservatives on unless they're bashing another conservative.
