I actually did meet Dave Grohl once through someone that knew him, and he was a serious dick, but I did giggle when I met him, out of being shy. He wasn't exactly cool about it, saying 'why are you laughing at me?' in a super-aggressive fashion. Still, that's not enough to slag him, but I do think his soft-spoken game is disingenuous. Just because people know how to act sweet doesn't mean they are.

I actually did meet Dave Grohl once through someone that knew him, and he was a serious dick, but I did giggle when I met him, out of being shy. He wasn't exactly cool about it, saying 'why are you laughing at me?' in a super-aggressive fashion. Still, that's not enough to slag him, but I do think his soft-spoken game is disingenuous. Just because people know how to act sweet doesn't mean they are.
Regardless, the Foos have sucked since the first record. Courtney seems smart here.

I know plenty about music, and the FOO suck. Dave claims punk/hard rock cred and has zero. Their drummer is also an annoying showoff. Dave has everything it takes to be great, except songs. Sure, the first record is decent. That was what, 17 years ago? Last ten years, pure bullshit.

I dont care if a drummer sings. Grohl has a pretty good voice. Too bad he can't w3rite a good hard rock riff to save his life. Too bad all his lyrics are moany complaints. He's very overrated, despite the fact he did play one of the best drum tracks in history on Teen Spirit. Nothing to take from his drums tracks.
Courtney's Hole record was prob better than any Foo Fighters record, but that's because it was written by Kurt. She clearly has problems, and is now too old to solve them.
