yes he has some aspects of his face that look English - especially the throat / throat spots. What a cutie! Please feed him lots of green veggies so he can stay with us a long time so we can see what all he learns.
Also, as far as whether he's an American parakeet or an English Budgie, we were told Budgie - I don't think there is much difference other than size, though, is that right? Since this video, he's learned how to say "Nobody puts Baby Bird in a corner," "Hasta la vista, Baby Bird," and "Ich bin ein Berliner" like JFK. I need to make some new videos!
I have been told that some birds simply have no interest in talking, despite a young age. Also, are you sure your parakeet is a male? I was also told that females generally do not talk. Otherwise, I repeat the same phrase over and over, many times during the day, using the same intonation each and every time. I say things in a very excited voice. But I think most of it is Disco - he just loves talking and mimicking!
omg how did you teach him all this? Charly can't speak..he is been with us for 6 months..and I got him when he still had his baby bars.. you think he could learn to talk? I havent really put any effort on teaching him words.. but have a look at how he skates!
I absolutely adore your bird!!! he is adorableeee , i love the snoring and the meow sounds
how did you teach him? mine is like 6 months... should i have any hopes if i started talking to him now? i know not all of them talk tho.. but how did you teach yours?
