I love Honda's but them and all other small engine cars sound as gay as gay can get... I have a 88 Hatch with a low power 1.5... It's a well engineered little car with a ton of miles, I want to put a B18 that I have in it with a turbo but I want it quiet because if It's loud... It will sound like my brothers 89 Civic fag wagon with a B18 and a turbo... He would have a true sleeper but it has the loud fag sound...

@jamieboi69 Muffler? These little engines are sensitive to how the exhaust is set up. This gay sounding exhaust is the most free flowing design. A turbo does make it a little quieter but it still has the gay fart pipe sound. It's quite sad though. I really do like Honda's. I even drive one. It's stock and quiet though. For now. I will probably end up giving in and putting a gay sounding fart pipe on it when B18 and turbo it... :-(

@mirk1500 thus the silencer exhaust tip may offer some solution quiet as a kitten when closed and with the touch of a button opens up full and roars like a tiger, there are a few different setups that can work bro, when i had just a down pipe to the flexi (temp thing while messing around with installation) my H22 no joke sounded like a v8 haha ;)

@mirk1500 Will only have a 'gay fart sound' if you use a cheap system and/or remove the cat. Use a high flow sport cat and a decent b pipe, manifold and muffler e.g spoon, mugen, j's racing etc. and it will become one the nicest sounding 4 cylinders :)

While I agree that a Civic is not a 'Sports car', (That term is reserved for RWD cars only) saying that they are not to the standards of one is a little harsh. The top model Civics, as well as the Integras, in the 90's, had double wishbone suspension, front and rear, as well as disc brakes, front and rear. With as close to racing engines as you can get from the factory. That's a very 'sporty' setup by any standard...Also seems like a great starting point for modifications to me...

Perhaps the standard of finish inside is deemed better than the EP but thats a matter of opinion but certainly the performance and handling characteristics just don't match up to that of the EP3. I've nothing against FN2's don't get me wrong, just don't see the sense in spending £18k on something thats just going to disappoint me as opposed to spending £8k on a decent EP3, better bang per buck if you ask me
