  • Love the way the ted and spencer hardly speak during jimmy's break only at the right times just watching it unfold. unlike the commentators now who just dont shut up and let the players get on with their break rather than criticise every shot

  • This is perfect jimmy at his whirlwind best making the break look so effortless and easy. Shame he cant play at this speed now. No one plays like this now, only o'sullivan and trump come close but the way jimmy played back then is the base of the way most attacking players play now.

  • didn't know jimmy can be so fast haha!

  • I miss jimmy like this - also miss the days of Ted Lowe and John Spencer commentating, though Dennis Taylor and John Virgo are both very good

  • Actually, the more i watch this video the more i was wondering what was so different to watching snooker today....and i suddenly realised that Ted Lowe & John Spencer hardly say a word throughout the break. These days you have to put up with constant witterings of the 'commentators', over analysing every single shot....just watch Jimmy the Genius play - no words needed !!

  • Man look at that cueball dance, Jimmy learned the table's speed and how he confidently and accurately positions the cueball is incredible. He uses mostly stun/stun follow shots in this match and also rarely hits the cushions!

  • I cant thank you enough i really love Jimmy :)

  • @Lisle2nd that's ok...i really like this break...speedy yet calming at the same time....beautifully and effortlessly made..

  • A really pretty game!

I love the free, wide, almost flamboyant cue action of the guys of these days. I mean, as for Jimmy, he's stayed that way :).

I can't get the idea of the last shot. He could have just played a soft follow, couldn't he? Did he want to play it of the jaw and into the middle pocket? :)

  • @barsorrro He was obviously looking for angle to get on the yellow if he just followed through he would have a hard yellow, but was trying to force it round off two cushions but clearly the angle wasn't there, he was trying to pinch the pocket consequently missing it. He already had the century, if didn't he probably wouldn't have tried anything too fancy.

  • @samasnookerfan True! I can be so absent-minded -- forgot there was the obligatory yellow next! How silly of me! Thanks!

  • @samasnookerfan Obviously. Clearly. Indeed. What not.
