  • WoW. Great job. WoW. I listened 6 times I was do mesmerized.

  • Love it

  • Listen to this at least once a day. Awesome job, guys (and girl drummer). Mahalo.

  • OK, Groove:30... how do I get the cd?!

  • I like! good soul feeling... with a touch of jazz. Get out the "polish" and make it shine! Keep up the good work with tunes "before your time." :-)

  • Boys and Girl... AMAZING!! Mr. Al Wilson must be grooving with all of you. Aloha from Brasil. Obrigado pelo som incrível.

  • Very impressive job by all musician's and the vocalist's take on the tune is wonderfully done. Great tune and a great time, 1973!!!!! Thank you!

  • what are the chords?

  • Really outstanding job guys. Its great to see the "next" generation give such a great tribute to a prior generations song..Very well done

  • this is one of my favorite soul joints of all time and i gotta say i was surprised how well you guys did with it. props

  • all good but the damn "lead" guitar guy is a hog, lower the volume!!!

  • Good remake of a song I loved in early 70's and I'm 60 now. Sometimes I ask DJ's to play this. Never heard anyone play it live though or karaoke either. Thanks.

  • I saw this some months ago and loove your version of this. Yes, the bass is played differently but isn't interpreting a song our own way what it's all about? I wish I still going to Hawaii like I was ten years ago as I'd love to check your band out live. Keep up the great work!

  • Damn! If I were an A&R guy from a record company I'd be signing you guys up and say, "Let's get you guys into a recording studio!"

Like the guitar solo...Too bad no female backup vocals. Still pretty damn good!

  • fuckin brilliant

  • you guys are hot, man. great cover.

  • Awesome work. Al Wilson would surely approve!

  • I like it.

  • Not even my taste in music and I still thought it was GREAT

  • I feel so honored to have made your aquaintance while on the island late last year. Please keep playing beautiful music like this from your hearts so that the rest of us may enjoy. :)

  • the lead guitarist sucks!!!!!

  • post more...love that old soul

  • Alright ya got me! I'm suscribing...Really digging y'all. Your drummer seems to have a really command of the Handsonic. Really nice.

  • Its real good! You all have changed the bass line a little. Did you know that? It is still grooving though but maybe you want to check the bass line for authenticity's sake.

  • Yeah, you are exactly right about the bass line. The bass player wanted it to groove a little harder so he tweaked it so that the beat would fall exactly on the "one" instead of lagging behind a little like the original. You have to be a bass player yourself to have caught it!

  • It is nice, but doesnt improve the groove of that song. Just because he plays on the one doesnt make this alreafy super grooving bass line groove harder in my opinion. It is a very nice version of the songthough I must say

  • Yeah . . . I gotta' agree . . . the syncopation, playing BEFORE the "one" is what really makes the line work . . . BTW, I played on the original record . . .

  • Man that was fresh!!

  • who is the cute japanese guitar player?

    love the music=)

  • I just had to post again, the solo at then end is friggin awsome, when he kicked in the drive it just rocked, I really like the 2 guitar setup now too, fills out the sound great.

You guys are really good, really really good, i get that laid back vibe from you and it just feels good.

  • I'm so jealous of these sessions you post. Great songs, excellent playing and singing, such a relaxed vibe.

if I ever get the chance to go back to Hawaii can I bring my bass over?

  • That was awesome playing on the guitar and drums! What kind of drum machine is that? You guys have a band name? Just play at home or do you guys play gigs somewhere? Thanks for the post! Aloha...

  • Thanks man!!! It's a Roland drum machine. The "Handsonic" I think. Our band name is Groove:30 & we play whenever and wherever we can...

  • gotta check out that drum machine, thanks!

  • nice groove!!
