I had no idea that The Underneath were around for that long! I mean, MUCC has been around for over ten years...right?

And some people do pronounce MUCC muku. It isn't wrong. MUCC(I think) is supposed to be pronounced "muk" but some people like to say it with a Japanese accent witch would be "muku". I've also heard it pronounced "mook"(I think that this might be because people heard their accent I thought it was this?)

MUCC even uses 69 to right their name.

But...a few pointers for ya:

1) The Underneath are NOT a brand new, up-and-coming band. They hace been around longer than the other two Japanese bands on the Taste of Chaos tour, but played under a different name and their music was VERY different- however the membership was the same. Look up Transtic Nerve sometime.

2) The name of the band MUCC is not pronounced "Muku". Listen to how Tatsuro pronounces it in your own clip. There is no "u" sound at the end.

Don't get me wrong, all the bands were awesome as shit. It was a hell of a show. But regarding the Jrock bands, when they played here in Biloxi on 3/29, I dont think they got the hype they deserved really. Simply put, a lot of ppl there were very ignorant and cold towards them, which is understandable because A LOT of ppl were there for the "english" bands. Speaking from both sides, I think it's good that Jrock is coming into America, but I think an "exclusive" show for them would be better.

@2trickster2 - If you appreciate instrumental musicianship just as much as I do - check our Versailles. They're jrock, but more specifically, they're more Dream Theatre-sounding and pull off a "Victorian" Visual Kei look. Listen to Red Carpet Day or The Revenant Choir. Teru and Hizaki are some really talented guitarists, hands down.

i know that the Jrock bands were great and all, but why not emphasize on the main bands!!! they were the ones that made the show kick ass!! i went on the 24th in atlanta and barely anyone was there while the japanese bands were playing.

Kmilan22 - Because the majority of American bands these days are boring ass Emo garbage, and we are burnt the fuck OUT on that shit, that's why we like the J-Rock bands, they're different and they don't sound like the everyday saptastic MTV emo-screamo snorefest. The reason I didn't emphasize the main bands is because I don't really know anything about them. I didn't really feel knowledgable enough to talk about them other than to say they put on a good show. That isn't to say I disliked them. I appreciated almost every band that played. It was a great concert overall. I just focused on Jrock because that's what I know.

When the bands walked out for the signing I was near the front of the line but too short too see, so it was kind of amazing seeing them through this. :3 It's like all the things I missed.
