soulful house is rare even within the house community, although many club dj's play it. but dont really know what it is. espescially in an extended set. Very few crowds were ready for it. it is the most hypnotic and lyrical of the genres.

I love you guys but House music derived from disco music. The way you guys have your Turntables setup are for battle scratching. House has drums and Bongos which takes you back to your AFRICAN ROOTS WHICH IS WHAT BLACK AND LATINO SHARE DESPITE MANY LATINOS DENYING BEING OF AFRICAN DESCENT.

Yeah Disco was just a label thrown on to a music that had no name, the best name for it would be Dance Music... and in terms of the turntable set-ups its a space issue and it's a club issue (that is a club is setup a certain way...)... true on the african roots of most latino cultures... in some ways they have more of the african culture than african americans...
