he using triggers on his bass and snare drum which means u can get them to sound like anything and u hardly have to touch them (if u set them up in that way) for them to trigger the chosen sound, have a look at 28 seconds how lightly he's playing the snare, its not hard to play this fast at all, its only cus it doesnt sound like a normal drum kit everyone is like woo woo over it ahaha
