George Shearing, Marian McPartland and Billy Taylor Remember

My, my, isn't this genuinely bloody marvelous... Three articulate, pianistic giants sharing stories... and notice how their spoken words are woven seamlessly into their musical illustrations...I've met (very briefly) Shearing and Taylor, and I've attended the ceremonies in recent years, at the World's Most Famous Music School (in Boston), where Taylor and McPartland have received honorary doctorates, and I can attest to the fact that they are, all three, exactly as they appear to be, here.

Listen to Marian McPartland on NPR. Check your local radio station for her weekly show. It's nice to see it, too, but at least you can hear it once a week.
