Really enjoyed this- I asked my teacher today about playing duets and found your podcast looking for music. Now will try to fing the "In recital" books. Many thanks ! Glenda, Belfast northern ireland
Me and my friend are doing Serenade for our Music GCSE ensemble performance. It's a grade four piece so is a bit ambitious for my terrible piano skills but we're working hard and it's a lovely piece!
i always watch these podcasts with a great deal of envy! that piece at the beginning was fantastic. Im 3 weeks into learning piano and well i hope someday i might be able to play as well as some of your students
wow thanks mario that was awesome. ive seen one of your movies before and enjoyed that one too. very cool thing you're doing. nice job by emily and shawn too.
great podcast on piano duets! didn't realize it actually helps that much with students. i'll try duet-ing with mine more often. ironically i'm currently arranging a duet right now too for fun
I look forward to hearing your piano duet! Another benefit of assigning duets to students that we forgot to mention is that students get the ensemble experience and sense of teamwork that students who participate in band or choir usually get. Studying piano can be a lonely experience, but duets can bring out a social element that is often lacking when performing on piano.
Do you know where I can get the piano sheets for this duet
