Review: Inexpensive, quality makeup palettes from BH Cosmetics

one question. these palettes are made in China. im not stereotypical but i just want to find out more about it. since it is made in China does it contain any lead? Thumbs up so she can see this!!!

i ordered on a sunday night and got it monday :D

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE HELP! i just bought a bunch of mac makeup and spent about $187 for a 15 shadow palette!!! [$400 for everything] i shouldn't have to pay that much for something i went to school for. it is nice makeup, but I'm not a money tree :P its just hard to believe that you can get so many colors for so cheap and good quality. just nice to see a REAL persons opinion :]

I keep reading that these contain lead..I just ordered one last week, and am kind of nervous now.. does anyone know anything about that? How do you get makeup tested for lead?

wonderful bits of advice, cheers!, have anybody tried Revlon's new line of products? it's quite hard to obtain makeup in Falcon Lake Estates but you can get  brilliant samples of makeup by using Gratis Makeup Samples, theyre ace!

i bought this pallet and when i blended the colors fell off with a base they didnt work good at all dont get me wrong some work great but others ehh i wasnt satisfied at all.

Being affiliated with a company means that you get send products on a regular basis and have an agreement with them. They hold up their end of the agreement and you hold up yours. I was only sent items for free on a one time basis to do a review stating my honest opinions. I cannot speak for others' customer service experiences, good or bad. That looks like really good quality, and like you said, it seems that relayering isn't required. I'm just surprised that it's so cheap! I got the very last Alice and Wonderland Urban Decay palette from Sephora in my shopping mall, and that was 70 bucks! It did come with 2 liners and the primer potion, but still. That's a great deal at BH, but I wonder how well it works, and if there are any disadvantages with it. Do you think that the packaging is cheap? Not that I'm not careful.

my fear is that they only last through a few uses is there a good amount of product on each circle of shadow as my mac eyeshadows last up to several months. If they do then i would prefer an entire palette then 12.50 for one single eyeshadow

Do you know what the difference between the 1st and 2nd edition 120 bh pallete is?

the difference is that the first one has slightly brighter colors and it has 6 mix match combos and im waiting to get mine for my birthday which is in may so im said but willing to wait :]

the first one has 6 colors that are combined with another color. most people seem to recomened (spelling?) the 2nd palette. the 2nd one is better in my opinion the colors are more vibrant

I ordered from the site on Saturday night, I was skeptical at first because I heard from quite a bit of people, that it was a scam. Yet I went ahead and ordered the 88 shimmer palette anyway. On sunday evening, I recieved an email from UPS saying they shipped the palette and it was on it's way from the company. Needless to say, 4 days later I got the palette (: no damage whatsoever to the eyeshadows which I'm glad.

Depending where you live, may take longer for shipment. That's about it.

usually it take a day or two for the tracking number to work. also take in mind that if you order on saturaday or sunday they dont process the order until the next business day meaning monday (exculding holidays and such) hope this helps! :)

the palette's from celia's, coastal scents, and BH are all exactly the same palette's, Celia's have the cheapest on eBAY but it's shipping form china compared to like coastal scents that's just shipping from florida so there's more room for damage to the palettes and it's a longer process to receive and return, but if you want cheap brushes buy from celia's since brushes are not easy to break from shipping.

Primer makes all eyeshadows work and look better but you don't have to use it. They're very shimmery. Thank you!
