Vocaloid is a sythetic singing program. Miku is only one out of a series of programs. Besides Rin and Len she is the newest version. The point of Vocaloid is to create songs or short melodies simliar to anime or j-pop, but, some users go outside-the-box with Vocaloid. Basically there are endless possiblities. Oh and it's in Japanese. Hope that helps ^_^
