  • Model 5s ia all we have, areound here in NC

  • 2001s are common in Huntsville, AL (110 of them).

  • are those thims that tell you what the siren is really how they show them?

  • are thunderbolts made anymore? because if they are not then i dont see why. i have one in my city and you can here it for miles

  • what are you talking about?! more than half of these are still made and most of them arent "RARE" they are being slowly replaced, not to be mean or anything, but dude this video is pretty off NO OFFENSE

  • No offense but I disagree on the 2001's, they are very common in ohio, but they might be common only in ohio, and I wouldn't say Thunderbolts are rare, they have been widely used in ohio AND other states, they are just slowly being replaced is all, federal model 2's and 5's are very common EVEN STILL

  • Why are the Whelen WPS series not in the video? O_o

  • in my area, this is the descrip. for the T-128:

    ACA Tempest 128

so common, it's the only thing that you see for a pretty big radius.

  • Orrville,OH has a E class EC1

  • the SD-10 sounds scary at night .

  • They Are Not Alarms.

    They Are Sirens.

  • lol i was trying to figure out where they put tornado sirens in the middle of big cities.......i was in a town near here called champaign and i looked around and noticed a thunderbolt on top of a building. i wonder if it still works

  • ok, this is going to be awile, i dont think all of the sirens are rare, you have all of the sirens that are NOT rare, and you have almost every siren in the WORLD! not every siren is rare!

  • Very inaccurate, no offense.

  • What kind of siren is that on 0:40 because those sirens i can see all over the island here i kauai on hawaii mostly in Kalaheo and Poipu.

  • bull sh!t in the pics the thunderbolt is the only siren

  • there should be only thunderbolt, SD10's, and model sirens, also ACA hurricane, dont forget the 2t22

  • Federal dual tone sd-10's and The thunderbolt 1003 horn/rotators r actually really popular/common in Hawaii.

  • I was hoping maybe, by some chance, there would be a clip of the very rare Sparton (Sparks Withington) siren. (If anyone's never seen one before, just look at my avatar. Sadly, that one is dead.)

  • The modulator is still made, and its very common.

  • Actually, most of these sirens are very common.

  • They don't make 2001s anymore? I thought they were the most common siren in existince!

  • @twotailedavenger They do. the 2001-130.

  • Oh. The 2001-130 is for those who can't afford the Modulator of Whelen.

But soon electronic sirens will be the only ones around. So enjoy your Thunderbolts now before they'rer gone for good.

  • @twotailedavenger the 2001 sirens are still in production.

  • cool video

  • ATIs will be all over here soon, In 2012

  • wrong about the 2001-130,DSA

  • What siren is @ 1:10?

  • model 2

  • model 7

  • modulator model 2 2001 t-128 model 5/7 t-bolts sth-10, _t22 are all still common

  • xt22s are dieing out to.

  • they aren't alarms they are sirens

  • whats this siren or horn at 1:44? is it even a siren?

  • What you see is a Gamewell Diaphone. You hear a siren in the background, then the Gamewell Diaphone sounds a blast over it, then you hear the siren winding down.

  • 0:30 = UFO

Yes, just a joke, I'm not that arrogant, it's obviously some kind of alerter, but I have no idea what kind.

  • its an ASC iForce

  • The modulator? I saw one of those yesterday same with the thunderbolt the t-128

  • What is the name of the band that sings the song in the video? I tried looking up "song summer song december" on various music sites but couldn't find anything. Is that the actual name of the song?

  • I like the video, nice tribute to warning systems, but it could be more appropriately titled "Various Warning Devices."

  • Nice video! But most of these sirens are still being made. The 2001 series is still being made, I've seen brand new ones across Tennessee, dozens of ATI's, etc.

  • Depends where you live, I see thousands of 2001s, yet I've never seen a Whelen... Nice M.A.S.H. song!

  • what kind of siren it that at 2:06?

  • H.O.R.

  • what sirens it is i live in denmark they are the sirens so difrent

  • dude they are installing 4 more 2001s in my city and the thunderbolts are also colling down they arnt rare dude. ant + those are like the MODERN sirens so thats that

  • some of those are not tornado sirens.

  • Oh by the way, 2:00 is a Gamewell diaphone, they are cool

  • yes

  • They use the new electronic sirens now, like the modulator and 2001-SRNB, all of the sirens ive seen in Oregon or California.

  • 2001's aren't electronic.

  • @sirenguy41

They might as well be, given how much of a piece of sh** they are. The only electronic siren I can tolerate is the Modulator. Barely.

  • 2001's are mechanical, not electronic. I thought the same thing when I first seen one, but their not. I have 2 2001-SRNB videos, check them out and you can tell whether their mechanical or electronic.

  • Yes it is. It's the American Signal i-FORCE siren.

  • i love mash it makes me happy just hearing that song

  • may i ask what the name of the first song is?

  • Majority of the sirens in the video are still made.

  • Nice video.

  • well.... atleast they dont make ATIs anymore

  • umm those were ASC sirens in the video

  • really

  • Yes they do, because Charlotte Pike in Nashville, TN just installed a brand new one near the interstate.

  • Sad that they don't make the sth-10s anymore. :(

  • true

  • They still make Federal signal 2001-130's because Brookpark, Ohio have 2 new ones.

  • Fs-2001-130 is still being made

  • There are tons still made. You're just not looking at the right places.

BTW, the "E" class sirens are still built by ASC.

  • The DSA is still made

  • There is some that are still being made and some of them not.

  • diaphone alarm they arnt made at all anymore

  • whats the siren a 1:44

  • um ya their made?

  • Tempest series of sirens are still built, too.

Tempest series of sirens includes the T-128.
