  • guys im using ubuntu and drop box. just know what files are where and you have 7 gb to mess withh :) so sly

  • @jmans25 2GB instead on one in dropbox my bad

  • @pixiemotion Lol sorry to be biased ;(. I did check out Ubuntu one and another survive called sugarsync and they both offer 5GB compared to dropbox's 1GB. The only problem is that SS is missing a Linux client and Ubuntu One is missing a Mac client. There are other services like DB though like spider oak

  • DROPBOX is the winner.

  • Ubuntu One works on Windows, Mac, Android AND Ubuntu, so it's at least as cross-platform as Dropbox ;)

  • @pixiemotion true that but it is aimed at ubuntu. Dropbox is aimmed at all platforms

  • @jmans25 Ubuntu One is also aimed at all platforms. Just because it's created by Canonical doesn't mean they don't target other platforms – why else would they create apps for other platforms? Of course the ulterior motive might be to make money that indirectly supports the Linux platform, but who knows what ulterior motives the Dropbox owners have, and who cares, doesn't change that both products work on all platforms. That's what matters, not what you believe the "aim" is.

  • @LoRdVoODoOChilD i lmao at my pronunciations and yes, lol, i said it right!
