  • I do not think this man has ever punched a bag in his life. All he does is to kick dust with his feet. There is much to be desired from his punches. Obviously he is not a professionally fighter.

The real fights have completely different rhythm and speed.

Practice MMA and forget all the Jappo-China fantasies.

BJJ, wrestling, grappling works everywhere including in water, sand and low gravity.

  • @gespilk hi

    not nice way to comment.

    and incorrect statements.

    sorry

  • So Powerful !!!

Amazing Chinese martial arts of another kind, unlike the more popular Southern styles.

  • is he in jail?

  • hahaha, looks like he is

  • 八極拳の何と言う型なのでしょうか。教えて下さい。

  • 看起來像是鄉野莽夫的,舞起功夫來,竟是虎虎生風阿

  • nice xing yi!

  • @Square41 It's baji quan

  • @HomunculusProject What's the difference between Baji Quan and Xing Yi? They seem very similar to me. Thanks.

  • @Square41 Baji is almost exclusively close-combat.

It's quite a legendary martial art. It is said to be the skill of the emperors bodyguards. It seems the aim is to end the fight with one strike. Also a master of this art once said "I do not know how it feels like to strike a man twice."

It is much more "rooted". Special about it is, that you can begin it as an external art, but later on find the internal application.

They are similar, because baji was created to combine the great inner stiles

  • @HomunculusProject thanks for the informative description!

  • @Square41 That is just the little theory I have read about it. (And it's really interesting!) Never actually experienced it.

    But I would love to!

  • that's no effect, that's chi

  • it's dirt, not chi. c'mon.

  • the flying sand is a nice effect.

  • you're a f-ing tool!

  • Well, technically you would write that as either "you're an f-ing tool" or "you're a f*cking tool." While you would rightly take offense to this comment, you only take offense to the former because your ego and your ignorance are fused and they both have a hard time with honesty.

  • 日本人到处在访中国民间的东西,这个是山西的民间练家子

  • good

  • I think it looks cool

  • This is Ba Ji Quan.

  • This looks very much like Hsing I, form is in a straight line. The thrusting movement forward while punching also looks a lot like Hsing I.

  • Think its xingyi-luihe forgive if thats a typo

  • No,it´s Bajiquan.

  • thanks for clarifying.

  • 八极拳!也叫四门斗!外家拳

  • I like how he does his form. I do mine in a relative way. When I do my form I think about killing my oponent. This gentleman pratices the same way he fights. Some people don't understand that real martial arts are rare.

  • surprisingly, when I fight I have better results with an "I love that guy" mindset rather than an "I hate that guy" one. It helps reduce tension, which is the enemy of flow.

  • i think it´s best to not think about the guy at all,but to concentrate on his moves.but i agree with ajaben:you have to reduce the tension

  • nice I enjoyed this

  • Yes.

  • Is this any good in real life scenarios?

  • Are you kidding?

  • The techniques are good, if your able to discern them and use them, yes.

  • Good question. I have tested the martial arts many times and I am convinced that they are very effective. Actually people who don't know the ancient way of practice(forms exercise and methods) are a lot more efficient. The major factor is balance and rhythm. I know that may be you have your doubts but I am positive about it because I have done a lot of research.

  • Yes, the forms teach one proper balance and skeletal structure above all I think

  • Cool fist form! The dirt adds to the effect, you can see the power more. nice job!

  • this is baji quan

  • He would hit like a freight train..

  • whoever he hits will turn gay!

  • This is Baji Xing pi. I practish Baji to. My teacher is Wim Seeuws and his teacher in China is Wu Lian from Hebei Cangzhou!

  • incredible internal force

  • great!
