Ok my problem is my wii versionis 3.4u and when i try to do this IOS249 doesnt pop up and also if i pick IOS36 It messes up when its installing cutson IOS and it says install error (ret= -2011)

My current cIOS is cIOS36 rev 13.23. Wiiflow and USB ISO loader, and Coverfloader all begin loading, but then return me to previous screens.

What do I do? how can I install a cIOS that can run at least one of these apps?/WAD's?

@Mephistin - You don't have current IOS, an IOS is like a service. Software may take advantage of them in order to do tasks. You sound like you're doing a local install without the wad files, get your wifi working and do a network one.

i get the -1035 error on everything, neogamma freezes and whenever i select "ios249" for anything it freezes and my wiimote disconnects

other peope have had this problem, and trucha bug will not work to fix it, how do i fix ios249?

When I go to the screen at 0:13 and try to find ios 249 it doesnt appear, its not on there. Ive seen somebody install it on ios60. What should I do?

i think you haven t the trucha bug on an IOS (the 36 generally)

use Trucha Bug Restorer (TBR)

Or if you have a 4.2 firmware, perhaps you must delete the stub ios (with any title deleter) which is installed by Nintendo during the update

only 38 rev14, 38 rev13 and 38 rev12

before there was 36 rev11, 36rev10 ...

since the rev12 it s ios 38 that s used

@TheMOHfanatic i did find a solution you have to try all because only some will work, if you dont choose the right one for your wii the wiimote turns off but if you press the right on it works, it different for every wii for his wii its that on but for me i tried a few different ones then it worked

if you are in 4.2 you have a stub ios in the slot 249, and you can install the cios38rev 14 or 15.

you can use Any Title Deleter to delete the stub and install the right one.

the 249 ios coulb be install on 3.2 to 4.2

i got probs with installin this ios38rev14, need that installed so i can get this uloader 3.1 installed. renamed the .dol file to boot.dol, and put it in a folder with the ios38-64-v3610.wad file, so then i put that folder in the apps folder. everyone says to just put it in the root of the sd card, but looks like theres more to it then that. and this ios selection thing, how do you decide which one to pick?

you have to the root of your SD :

- ios38-64-v3610.wad

- apps/cios38rev14/voot.dol

the .wad is only for wad instalaltion

you don't need that for a network installation.

if you update your wii to 4.2, you have an ios installed in the slot 249 and you can install this ios38rev14, so use Any title deleter to delete ios 249 (systel title and ios 249)

Gush that's hard to explain because it's so simple. ;o) The root of the SD is just the main place of your SD card. For ex. when you have an empty SD-card you put a simple file on. That file is on the root. When you put that file in a map on the SD-card it's not on the root (but your map is). Hope u understand.
