Some years ago, I dreamed that I was watching a horror/sci-fi sequel of this movie. The aliens looked more like fish/human hybrids than cheesy fur costumes, they could shapeshift at will from human to alien and viceversa, they had a hundred or so needle-like teeth in their mouths, and Mac used his tongue to suck the brain out of the head of someone who was bothering him. And that weird knob Zeebo uses was a device to control their emotional state. One of the modes was called "murderous beast".

The first time I watched this movie; I wasn't especially impressed by it, because I was watching for Jim Carrey's part. (I think, at that time I was only eleven years old.) But; after seeing 'The Fly' for the first time; I've reeeaally gotten to love it for Jeff Goldblum, and Geena Davis. (It's become one of my favourite JG films. He's so adorable- the way he's always absorbing! Always taking in what's going on around him. (I love he he actually looks like he's new to this planet, you know?)

This is one of my favorite cult like movies of all time. It's hilarious and uniquely silly all the way through, with a phenomenal cast when many were yet undiscovered: Damon Wyan and Jim Carrey were not really known yet. Jeff Goldblum, Geena Davis. If ya haven't seen the whole thing and you get a kick out of this clip, you HAVE to see the whole thing. Scary funny ;-D

wowzerz, since my mom recently bought AT&T this movie comes on A lot. my uncle says this movie was out while they were still allowin nudity to be shown on the television, so i never got to see it, but once i watched it on tv there waz only one and a half Sex scenes. when she alomost freaked tha docter and when she freaked tha Blue dude. wowzerz not dat bad for an ol' skool movie.Ol' folks be going Bazonkerz!
