At that time, she didn't blow up like I thought she would. I'm so glad she's taking off now with this one! It will give these teens a place to stay, when otherwise they would be homeless. I applaud Emily for donating her proceeds. I purchased it. Equality is something for everyone, yes even for you who do not agree. I hope one day YOUR equality is not taken away, and you must rely on the help of others... but if it is, I will be there fighting for you! Kudos to Emily and Cyndi Lauper!!!

Loved you on Celebrity apprentice, I think your voice is amazing and you have seem to have great personality. But, why do you not go by your real name Emily Nemmers and you go by Emily West? Is it for publicity reasons, I think if your publicist told you it would sound better then don't listen to them, use your real name don't let them change you or your name. Your a star either way, changing your name doesn't make a difference your voice and talent does.

@cfph66 I see where you're coming from, but I'm pretty sure the resemblence between her rain scenes in this video and Faith's rain scenes in "Cry" are completely coincidental. Check out Emily West's video for "Rocks In Your Shoes" and you'll see that her style is actually quite different from Faith's.

Like many others here, i saw her performance at celebrity apprentice, and her powerful, beautiful voice just made a big impression on me. It's a beautiful song, and knowing what made her write it, just makes it all the more special.
