In the book "The men who stare at goats" (not the film) the author talks about the military investigating the use of music to assist the first earth battlion. Sending soldiers into battle playing music rather than firing guns. The music would inspire a feeling of love in the enemy and they would lay down arms and feel as though the soldiers came in peace.

Its a bit hippy but it makes complete sense considering u fall in love with songs.

If you remember the story of David and king saul...l`ll fill you in... as David was playing music to his king Saul started to become angry and picked up his spear and throwed it at David.. most people take this to mean David was loved by the people and thatr`s why king Saul was angry.. but the text clearly show it was the music that made Saul angry.. they have hid these stories about sound waves and their effect so we wouldn`t know about it..
