The thrust, power and control John has over his voice is really remarkable. Combine that with McCartney's ability to drop into rawness when the occasion called makes them clearly the greatest rock and roll duo EVER bar none. Just watch and listen to John and imagine the air his voice must have moved...totally incredible, and is there any doubt that they were one of the greatest live bands too? WOW.
