What's the name of the bar on the top at the start of the video? I'm after deleting mine accidentally ¬_¬ . I cannot restore it because I do not know its name.
If you are reffering to the control bar, it is the dell dock that comes pre installed on any dell laptop or dektop. If your version has stopped working, you can redownload dell dock at dells official website for free. Hope I helped...
@BR1TA1N Hp does the same thing with the dock...i think its anoying it just gets in the way i wish they wouldnt install a buncha stuff an im refering to an hp computer idk bout dell
does the windows 7 give you more freedom in rooting? just wonderin, I am definatley not looking for a computer that works as if I am an idiot that is computer illiterate
Windows 7 is the pinnacle in operating systems to date, While it may not be as powerful or stylish such as the mac osx or even free like ubuntu or linux it is still extremely powerful. If you have a computer that is able to run any vista operating system, windows 7 will be capable of installation on your cimputer. To answer your question, if you can use windows xp efficiently windows 7 would be a breeze to use as it is just so versatile in doing its job.
Dont be fooled by its looks. In many ways it does look and feel like vista, however under the skin it has a lot of new features implemented that vista did not. It runs surprisingly faster, not on boot-up but while running from window to window. Another advantage is that its power saving capabilities are much increased. All ports on your computer including usb, disc drive, and sound outputs are turned off when not in use. This means that i can spend much longer online without having to recharge!
but it's better than the other windows versions... it doesn't go slow unless you have tons of settings on... i keep my settings low and defrag my hard-drive every week
It is. To the none tech savy then Final Release build seemed the best way to describe it. I can confirm that the windows 7 ultimate x86 (what im using) is using the 6.1,7600 build. Sorry for not being specific.
If your asking about if it has any ANTIVIRUS software, then yes it does come with a set of precautions. With any version of windows 7 (as with vista) you will be able to use windows firewall, however it is advisable to use your own virus software like norton or avg pro. Another precaution is UAC which is now a more advanced version from previous versions of windows. And finally, ultimate users will recieve exclusive use of bitlocker which allows the encryption of any WHOLE drive external or not.
You can get Windows 7 for free now!
