In the song, he mentions the "line" as something that's not there in reality; it's something imaginary, maybe even something of an excuse for whatever insanity that he lets loose. And, actually, if you do have high quality headphones/speakers, you can hear a distinct "ph" sound, then an "aining" sound at about 2:03 (when he really draws out the word). Put that together, and you get a word that sounds an awful lot like...

@TheBlahblahblahahaha Describing it as thinning is less repetitive than more than half the songs out there already. I think I can handle a bit of redundancy.

Also, FeignING, as in a VERB. Feigned I would accept, but feigning isn't an adjective, it's describing an action.

Thinning and Fading aren't the same either: Thinning implies it's getting smaller, while fading implies it's getting dimmer, both of which can happen at the same time.

However, my headphones give me a "TH" sound, not a "PH"

I mean, he already mentions the line fading, so why would he describe it, again, as something that's thinning? Just doesn't fit.

So, sorry if you, or no one else out there understands my points. Just my opinion of what makes sense xP

@TheBlahblahblahahaha I also listened to it in 720P on full volume with my HQ headphones....and still heard Thinning. *shrugs* :\ He does say it twice, and on the second one it sounds much clearer.

The only way to really resolve it is to ask the band, considering they're on facebook.

Broken Iris was one of the many soft-to-rock(i think) bands that ever change people's hearts

It was written in history that during a broken Iris song emotion itself was written meaning the main breaks fo the heart and the emotional break

Thus the band found it's name and named itself Broken Iris in memorial of the breakings of the heart and soul in this world of illusion.

The only problem I have with this song is the way he pronounces "thinning". It sounds like he says "The thinnying line". If not for that, this song would be perfect. Their other songs are great though.
