I live fifteen minutes from Atlanta and this was the first tornado to ever hit Atlanta. Amazingly, no one was killed.

Actually this was the second tornado to hit atlanta. My grandmother told me one hit back in the 70s on the westside of atlanta it went thru perry homes

I think this 2008 tornado was the "first" to hit right through downtown, but it was one back in the 70's it also damaged the Governor's Mansion, my grandparents had just moved here that same year.

I live in the metro Atlanta area and March 14-15 will be two days I will long remember. BTW: interesting choice of music for the vid.
