  • Partners in crime lol

  • i have a bird i think it cant open a lock

  • Lol my bird just takes the easy way out , it pushes the food or water bowl put and goes through there.

  • hey, do you mind me using a short segment of this footage for a movie i am making?

i intend to make a movie and a snippet of this video can be used to depict ' a new found freedom'

  • That cockatoo is the mastermind, the macaw is his associate; And the African grey is like "No way am I trying to escape".

  • it's foot... LOL!

  • He's the "Rise of the planet of the apes; Cesar" of birds. Great vid. Wonderful bird!

  • Clearly the people that are calling you an abusive pet owner are uneducated in more than one respect. One of them can't even spell a word as basic as torturous.

  • I love this video! I have watched it at least 5 times in amazement of how smart the cockatoo is! It's funny how he unlocked the first door & then went to unlock the other door like prisoners escaping! LOL! :)

  • How did you get them all sharing a cage ????? I wish my 3 cockatoos would share a big cage any tips???? Beautiful birds you have :-)

  • I love how people cry "animal cruelty" to something someone has done with their pets that they wish they could do on youtube videos. get a life.

  • Macaw: Alright! you unlocked the cage, now let's get the hell out!

Cockatoo: I did what? I was just trying to get that shiny lock so I could play with it...

  • Wow, a cockatoo, a grey, and a macaw... that's quite a fun collection you ahve there.

  • cute little bastard! :-))))

  • I cacatua sono specializzati evasori e s montatori

  • good stuff !!

  • The cockatoo does all the work, the macaw bursts open the cage after the cockatoo is finally done... and the CAG waits for them both to escape before he mysteriously appears on the top of the cage... like a boss.

  • Its funny how the cockatoo was so smart to unlock the door, but then when it drops the lock he just sits there so confused. lol

  • i love how the big ass macaw opens the cage

  • wow

  • I want to see the sequel.......

  • The music so goes with it

  • Im so jealous of your cage lol.

  • ¡Jajaja, buenísimo!!

  • Did he pick that lock? thats what I call skill

  • i am not giting that cag bc he can diy in that cag bc metll can diy him if i wrll you i wot dow dat bet i am give you post

  • And the gray was the mastermind behind the whole operation.

  • Obviously you shouldn't let them have the keys. Maybe a combination lock would be better. lol

  • 18 people couldn't get the lock off the cage.

  • For all of you who think that having a cockatoo in a cage or any other bird in cage is animal abuse first think of what animal abuse is: it's when an animal is neglected, mistreated and/or mal-nourished!!! Us bird owners know they need a little bit of freedom that's why most of us let them be free all day and close their cage at night!! I respect your opinions but US BIRD LOVERS ARE NOT ANIMAL ABUSERS!!!!

  • @maer06 Animals at the bottom of the food chain see freedom differently than animals at the top, like humans.

A "nice place to be" to a bird is a branch in a heavily leafed tree, having food and water makes it even better. Which is a lot like a good cage.

  • lol there was an accomplice!! the door buster!!

  • great video, the master mind behind the operation, the cockatoo!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Oh you parrot non-owners, never doubt the intelligence of a parrot!! Us parrot parents don't!!

  • cute legs...when its like lashing to grab the look..hehe

  • smart birds

  • the suspense!

  • I wish my cockatiel would do something like this but my cockatiel is very tame so....... i guess its cool!

  • All of the critics probably have dogs or cats. Same thing. Animals domesticated for personal use by humans. My birds have never had their wings clipped. They can fly wherever they want. I even take them outside. They stay wherever I put them. They can chew things up though.

  • now, time to unlock the house, then, off to the white house

  • Nice mccaw!

  • Great! Very cool to watch it..

  • Keeps spouting offf about? I made oen statement!

CAGING an animal that was born to "FLY" and cutting it feathers off so it can't fly, is animal abuse! Period, Keep trying to make" yourself" feel better for torchering animals, you are no better than Michael Vick!

  • Macaw: "ME FIRST!"

  • The Mcaw...His partner in crime.

  • How is this animal cruelty? That cage is huge.

  • that was so kewl my salmon crested cockatoo does the same... would be kewl to see him do it with the pad lock on lol

  • omg so smart almost shit my pants because of the awesome ness

  • What a great video. I love their prison break! They all look pretty pleased with themselves. I should put a camera on mine when I go out. LOL Thanks for sharing!

  • It`s always so sad to watch birds in a cage. All birds should live in freedom. The nature has given them two wings. And these wings are not made for beating against bars. Question....is anyone here who wants to spend his life in a cage? No?

So why do you think that animals want that?

  • @Lucy82681 Don't you have any pets Lucy..?

  • @Lucy82681

Most good bird owners leave the cage open all day. I would say if you never take the bird out and play with him then thats cruel cause birds are social animals. At night my birds all fly back into there cages cause they consider it home not prison. Oh brother where do you people come from....

  • lol im pretty sure they were trained to do that..but either way those birds are genius

  • @Vampireknightlvr1 wow thanks but wat type of adoption cuaz petsmart does the same or was it the legit adoption center and was it for free

  • @Vampireknightlvr1 well thats good wow how much did the cage cost cuaz im looking to buy a sulphur crested cockadoo the one seen the video if u can can u tell wat type of store u went to buy ur bird thanks

  • @Vampireknightlvr1 hahaha thats funny but there close to family so thats smart but maybe it just wants to get out of the cage but i don't know u and how u take care of your pets but maybe tak it out once in a while

  • that was awesome ... love the way he takes off the other lock just cause .... and that cage is huge nice post

  • The term "bird brain" to mean "stupid" is obviously wrong!

  • HAHA! This is great. Well-done in the video department, too. Posting to Facebook!

  • Any one that thinks this is some kind of manipulation trick done by the owner is probably wrong. I am owned by two macaws myself, and they know how to cut the ropes at the bottom of their giant maximum security prisons, snip a padlock, then slide the bars and the trays out under it to escape underneath.

  • That cockatoo looks so soft!! and smart!

  • @boredBordeaux I WANA PET IT!!!!!

  • THIS IS MY LIBRARY TEACHER'S BIRD!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • 2:29 - 2:32 was nearly too perfect.

"My name is Cockatoo, Billy cockatoo"

  • parrots are so smart! love them all ;)

  • Wnem I had my Cockatoo, Ki-Ki, she used to fly all over the village, Her favourite was to join the circling homing pigeons. If I drove out to paint landscape pictures, Ki-Ki would come with me, poking her head out of the car window to catch the slip-stream rush of wind, She would fly off to explore the countyside while I painted, but as soon as I started the car, Ki-Ki would fly into the car though an open window, I sometimes had to blow the horn, as Ki-Ki was having so much fun in the wild!

  • smart birds..

  • This vid is awesome!!! And to all the comments bout animal cruelty,it's actually you guys who must be cruel....these birds look healthy and happy!

  • LOL, Billy's quite an intelligent little stinker!

  • What an animal cruelty!!! Poor bird!!! He has to spend his whole life in a cage!!!!

  • @Lucy82681 Yeahhh no. Look at the size of that cage, the owner obviously loves those birds very much and takes them out. Now hush up

  • "Looks like this is a crime.... most fowl" *puts shades on* YYYEEEEEAAAAAHHHHH"

  • DARN U NAMED THEM mayb i could edit wat i had planned

  • BILL:OK BOYS ITS TIME WE GET OUTA HERE....just give me a couple minutes here with this lock 1:02 ok got the lock off now to unhinge it 1:15 damm almost had it 1:18 GOT IT JO JO GET OVER IM GONNA FREE THE OTHERS JO:holey crap man i cant belive this is happening BILL: SHHH quiet b4 sum1 hears u 2:07 BILL:HELLO MY FRIEND FREEDOM IS YOURS quick up here 2:34 MA X: thanks bill great job JO:yea wat he said but wat now bil 2:48 BILL: we live we are free...4 NOW wat i mean by 4 now is

  • i love parrots :-)

  • 2:12 Confused me a little he went to the top an dropped the Lock like he was king lol.

  • 彼らは喋れないが決してバカではないと言う事だ。

  • WE ALL GONNA DIE!

  • what music is this o_o? lol

  • @PrincessRainbow99 Mission: Impossible OST

  • nie długo papugi opanują świat !

  • Missão impossível tornada possível com muita paciência e habilidade. Esta arara merecia um passeio em liberdade.

  • It's bloody brilliant whahahahaha

Beautiful, smart birds, this has nothing to do with cruelty, those birds looks happy, very happy!

  • mr bond, mr bond! the parrots are on the loose!!!

  • white is michael

    pumpkin color is lincoln

    who is gray?

  • PARROT BREAK !!! xaxaxa!

  • Hahahaha!!! Sooo Gooood!

    The Great Escape!!! :D

  • If cockatoos had human arms they would conquer the world & enslave human kind.

  • Are you gonna keep those Animalls all their life in your room ?

  • hahahahahah..PRISION BREAK

  • lol the cockatoo did all the work but he let the parrot look like he was the one who broke out lmao

  • Oh damn, that be a superbird.

Incredibly smart AND be supportin' thumbs!

  • Awesome!

  • I have many Toos as well as Macaws they never cease to amaze me with their abilities. You secure things on their cages they watch you closely, you can almost see the wheels turning in their heads. I`m constantly in awe of their intellect not a day goes by I don`t shake my head.

  • @whattazoo How many birds do you have and did you rescue them? I have one and don't have enough time to take care of him.

    Linda

  • @birdlady423

We have 25 birds everything from lovebirds to macaws

  • My friend's Scarlett Macaw attacked her smaller Macaw(I forget the species). It was one of the little ones though. Poor little thing lost a wing. Can't imagine what set off the big one though. They're both cuddlers. Dunno what got into the big one.

  • my parraket tried to do that today

  • FAVVED SUBSCRiBED AND ADDED AS FRiEnD!

  • Whattt! Scary!

  • lool thats cool!

  • I loved this. What a clever old too, letting out all her buddies and herself. But please I wish you would put them in separate cages. You only need something to spook them and it will be kiaos. Please think about separating them. Video is fun xxxxx

  • teach him how to open up with a key !

  • Your Cockatoo is one of the smartest escape artists I've seen. I used to have a Hans Macaw that was very good at getting out of his cage. I had to keep padlocks on his door and food & water dish doors and locked when we left the house.

  • PLEASE dont keep all those birds together in one cage!!!! I saw on tv where a U2 ended up w/her legs/beak bitten off by her best friend a macaw. They were buddies for yrs. It only took 1 fight and a few mins for that to happen. These bds would never be together in the wild. It only takes 1 time for something bad to happen the its too late.

  • Hah! My macaws do this every morning, let themselves out and then "free" all the rest of the flock... cockateils, african greys, lovebirds, conures. Of course, here, cages are just homes, a safe place to be when visitors come or the door to the outside is open. These are all rescue birds, by the way, and could not survive if I were to let them outside.

  • Ha ha! That is the best!

  • Awesome.

  • i am sorry for them...really.

three totally different birds in one cage when one doesn't understand the others language. that really sucks....its' not cute.

if i'd be one of them i' also try to escape!

  • What a foolish comment. Are you one of those PETA morons or what?

  • I love how the macaw is smart enough to climb higher to use his weight to cause the door to open wider. That takes some brains for sure!

  • Did you train them? If so, good job!

  • lol the bird is funny

  • They aren't birds they're people!

  • Haha, Lol, They're smart. My friend's can do that, but he just knows the bolt trick. He can't get a lock undone, too.

  • For all you idiots that think this is animal cruelty... Get a life n stop critisizing others. None of u obviously know anything. This was an excellent video. Really shows how smart they are! If they were abused they would take advantage of the situation of being OUT of their cage and try to escape further from the house they live at. I have NO DOUBT in my mind that every one of those beautiful birds is happy as can be.

  • @tattley1110 the wings are most likely clipped i doubt they could fly away very far. Though i would have to agree with some of the viewers i would rather not have any animal caged unless it was being treated or was injured in a manner that it wouldn't be able to survive in the wild.

  • @tattley1110 Escape? How, their wings are clipped! It is cruel to keep birds...PERIOD

  • @skyrider4ever So a bird can be lavished with good food, good toys, a warm home and love and comfort . . . and it's still abuse?

I think you need to learn the definition of that word you keep spouting.

  • @tattley1110 Totally agree, I have 7 rescued parrots, from people who actually abused them. They are defiantly a lot of work, but as far as wing clipping being cruel, I see it no different then a dog being stuck in a house all day without being walked. Wild dogs walk miles and miles a day, so what's the difference? I have a U2 and he doesn't just open the cage, he takes the whole door off! He has plenty of toys for foraging and distroying, he just hates when his door is closed. What a character!

  • Either Copperfield's, David Blaine's or Chriss Angel's bird...

  • that is so cool!

  • GOOD JOB!!! :D

  • I really admire how Billy keeps his mind on business! The moment he gets out he proceeds to the other door and lock and takes it out of action (until you find it again.) Only then (with the lock in hand) does he make for the top of the cage and some "free" time. Aaaa-mmm-azing!

  • Lol on 0:56! He looks around to make sure he's not caught!

  • LOL did you see the B&G when the cackatoo opened the door, he was like oh shit!

  • Very smart birds, one should not underestimate their intelligence. ;)

But I have to warn you keeping these birds together, especially having a macaw with a 'too and a grey, since macaws are highly suspectible of pulmonary hypersensitivity syndrome, especially the b&g's since they don't have feathers covering their nostrils.

  • That's true - I talked to a customer the other day that lost a 7 year old blue and gold and her vet lost a Hyacinth also.

  • HA! awesome music!

  • aww shnap. i should never have watch this with my cockatoo... now shes plotting =x

  • This is not cruelty. Bird use their beaks as hands. My bird does not have his wings clipped but he uses his mouth for climbing, opening things and swinging from branches. Cockatoos love puzzles of all types in even in the wild will often break into cars and stuff just because they enjoy it.

  • You're putting out a bad reputation for those who actually care about animal rights and welfare.

Volunteer at an animal shelter or a humane society to learn firsthand what real animal cruelty is like, based on the previous lives of the homeless animals there.

  • this isn't animal cruelty at all. birds don't have arms, they have wings and their feet, and they use their feet as hands. Toos are very very smart birds and they love puzzles, Toos have been known to open any kind of lock there is, and they enjoy it!! plus if you notice these birds looks fantastic.

  • u apparently dont know what animal cruelty is...

  • if you think this is animal cruelty you havent seen an animal being abused

  • You are a complete fricking dolt to think that was animal cruelty. Stupid POS.

  • @elsieritchie Are you retarded?

  • That is so cool! I loved watching. Parrots are something else! Are the parrots yours? Five Stars from me!! If I could give 10 I would....funny funny funny

  • I loved this!!!! Too cute!

  • very funny me likes :-)

  • lol at 2:32 Billy is like all sad since he lost ther lock

    XD

    THX 4 POSTIN

  • good job, they deserved some treats ^^

  • OMG

  • my corella did that when i went to school only he was outside.

but its okay cos i found him in a tree about 10 minutes from my house and when he saw me he flew down into my arms :P

  • Wow... Nice cage, they must be spoiled lol.

  • Awesome video!! Very cute & perfect music!!! Love how Billy helps out his friends....

  • lol when powers combined they become!!!!.....free? lol

  • Very cute video, I`m not a great fan of the idea of having birds as pets (too much trouble), but parrots and macaws are just too charming and iteligent. *.*

  • That eco-idiots are upsetting me, as a fishkeeper I know the importance of pet market for the encouragement of captive breeding of various species. As a brazilian I know how the ilegal animal trading is harmful to the endangered species, but our government have a lot of strict laws about capturing and selling illegal wild animals. If all are aware when purchasing exotic pets this illegal market will be a bad business. Stop being an eco-idiot and start being eco-conscious. :)

  • Very cute and endearing video. Billy looks like the safe cracker, Max looks like brains being the quiet one minding his own business while Billy does the dirty work; and JoJo is the muscle. Love how Billy after he gets to the top of the cage does a great pose. He is so proud of himself and is asking you it seems, "You didn't think I would did you?" Thanks for posting!

  • Love the video. Nice to see them all getting along. Did you get them all at the same time?

  • i love how the birds just sit at the top of the cage after they're out, like they're thinking "okay... now what?"

    hahaha :]

  • omg awesome bird

  • My companion umbrella cockatoo is also an escape artist although she has little need to do this now. Her former caretakers used to leave her alone for weekends; that's a big no no. These birds don't do well alone. One weekend they left the key in the lock. She turned the key, popped the lock, removed it and turned the latch just like your video. When the "caretakers" came home their medicine cabinet had been turned into toothpicks.

Leave me alone, will ya! Take this!

    Great video, than you.

  • OMG! this is great!

  • lol yeah i wish i filmed my macaw i have a blue and gold who because wrapped a hanger around the door and put clamps on t decided that he would just take the whole door off by undoing every bolt ......and did

  • oooooh my goodness dis is sooo funnii and cute...... one bird unlocks the door the other opens it..... I love Blue and Gold Macaws where did u get urs from!!!!

  • very smart parrots

good thinking on the mission impossible music

    LOL

  • These are my birdies and we love them very much--and they know it. Billy (the cockatoo) is a lovie dovie birdy who would like nothing more than to sit in your lap and let you love all over him 24 /7. Max (the Grey) talks up a blue streak and is so intelligent. yesterday when I cam home, he asked me if I had eaten lunch yet? We didnt teach him that. JoJo-my macaw loves to be cradled, hang up side down, and he adores my 11 year old. They are members of our family and we love them.

  • beautiful parrots and cage!!!

  • loved the video :D and the cage is amazing, they get on so well

  • this is absolutely the best video in the whole wide world!!!!! i have watched it

over & over. i love it.

  • rofl................ omfg i was just looking up a movie called conair & then pop out so random & niceeeeeee 5/5!!!!

  • haha made me laugh lmao

    Very intellegent creatures for sure!

  • My amazement is how you can have 3 completely different species of parrot in the same place at the same time. I spend most of my time keeping my guys from annoying the crap out of each other.

  • One day, all to soon, the only parrots alive will be living in our homes. It never ceases to amaze me how people are so cool with how dogs and cats were bred for our entertainment. Domestic cats aren't even really a natural breed. But take a parrot who couldn't survive without humans and OMG it's the end of the world. Enjoy your nice home that was built by what would have been a natural habitat for a dangerously endangerd parrot.

  • Wood is a natural resource, it even does this crazy thing called growing back. Just because the fools in South America can't stop deforestation for farmland doesn't have anything to do with keeping parrots. If anything captive breed parrots will guarantee the species survival.

  • STFU you tree-hugging jackass.

  • That is AWESOME!!!!

  • Woah nice!

  • OMG !!

that is very smart can they talk

  • of corse dumb

  • corse?

  • I find it so amazing that an animal devoid of consciousness exercises the mental capacity to

escape from imprisonment yet we as conscious

humans allow our minds to be imprisoned by

the parasitical elite. FREE your minds, visit

    deprogram[.]us ,CampaignForLiberty[.]com and

    DotComWhatDotCom[.]WebProsperity[.]com in that

order.Remove the brackets imprisoning the dots ;)

  • Devoid of consciousness? WTF do you mean by that? Birds like almost any other animal (including humans btw) have a nervous system and thus have a consciousness. Jeez you make pro-freedom folk sound like idiots.

  • A nervous system does NOT constitute consciousness lol.I suggest you set down with a copy of The Origin of Consciousness in the Breakdown of the Bicameral Mind by former professor of psychology at Princeton University.Anyone who has read this great masterpiece will readily identify who the idiot is.
